Not justifying Steve Smith’s actions but this guy has a bigger problem with his wife. Who’s next after Smith?

Dudes gonna potentially lose his 24 year marriage over some piece of tail?

Stupid is as stupid does.

Weight Class? You're smaller than all the OL you go against each game. This guy just has amazing sumo technique. LOL Dallas better trade you before you fail after signing that second contract.

I grew up near Shea; and watching football games there could be brutal because of the wind.

Classic old time baseball stadium. 60% closed but about 40% open, with lower bleachers and even more wide-open in centerfield.

Very few buildings around the stadium to block wind. In the winter, the wind would catch in the stadium, and just whip around and beat the crap out of you.
That sounds a lot like candlestick park back in the day. The day games weren’t so bad, but the night games were brutal. When that wind came blowing in off the bay you would freeze your ass off.

My parents used to get us this package deal where we would ride up on a bus with a bunch of people and we’d be fed a KFC dinner out of a box. That wasn’t so bad, but once the evening came, so did those gusts of wind.

‘73!
Thurman Munson, Bobby Murcer and Roy White.
My two favorite teams “met” in the World Series.
A’s beat the Mets, led by Reggie Jackson winning his first WS MVP.
Willie Mays got his last hit in that series but looked sad overall.

Most underrated Baseball team in history—the swinging A’s of the ‘70s. The Yankees are the only other franchise to threepeat. The A’s took down the big red machine in ‘72, the Mets in ‘73, and the dodgers in ‘74. I was lucky enough to grow up watching all that.

More fallout from the Stafford negotiation:

Two prominent reporters got into a confrontation at a hotel near the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this week, and the league is looking into the incident.

. While many understandably wondered if PFT Commenter was joking, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk quickly confirmed the report.

Florio said Jordan Schultz, a reporter for FOX Sports, confronted Ian Rapoport of NFL Media at the Starbucks inside the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, where many people are staying for the Combine. Rapoport was said to have been talking with an NFL agent when Schultz approached the NFL Media reporter and said the two needed to talk. Rapoport disagreed that the two needed to talk, and they reportedly got face-to-face, with Schultz making accusations about Rapoport.

Schultz is said to have told Rapoport that the two would have a problem if something happened again. Rapoport took that as a physical threat and alerted NFL Security.

It is likely that the confrontation between Schultz and Rapoport had something to do with what they each reported about Tom Brady’s recruitment of Matthew Stafford. Brady, a part-owner of the Raiders, supposedly wants to convince Stafford to play in Las Vegas. Schultz said Brady recently hosted Stafford at the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s home in Montana and the two went skiing together.

Rapoport then claimed Brady and Stafford merely bumped into each other by chance.
