Really like the Kickers the Rams brought in so apparently new Special Teams Coach Chase Blackburn was doing something both were very accurate, however, did not have the big leg of Gay. However, Dunn won the Lou Groza award and Brown was a semi finalist. Both will not have to worry about kicking off because Punter Ethan Evans having the ability to do so.

Also @Selassie I now has to order an Alex Ward jersey as predicted a couple of months ago that he would be the Rams long snapper.

Love the safeties and corners they're bringing in to compete! Quindell Johnson is the obvious one, but the Davises and Jones are solid corners, Torrance II, Ingel, and Duncan are just solid, and Woodbey could compete for the linebacker/safety hybrid spot.

Well , I get a close look at these players & see who passes The Eye test The Best!!
—Les Snead & The Rams do there best work with these type of players coaching players up.

I ALWAYS like watching The Preseason games.Last season 2023 season came to soon.

This List (no particular order) comes from a number of unverified sources.

Rams Undrafted Free Agents (REPORTED)
Jordan Jones (CB)
Jaiden Woodbey (S / LB)
Alex Ward (LS)
Tiyon Evans (RB)
Christopher Dunn (PK)
Timarcus Davis (CB/S) … reported to include a $9,000 signing bonus
Kelechi Anyalebechi (LB)
Tyon Davis (CB)
Tanner Ingle (S)
Christian Sims (TE)
Mike McAllister (C)
Sean Maginn (OL)
Rashad Torrence (S)
DeAndre Square (LB)
Xavier Smith (WR) … reported to include a $5,000 signing bonus
Quindell Johnson (S) … reported to include a $30,000 signing bonus
Tanner Brown (PK) … reported to include a $3,000 signing bonus

That's 17 players.

Signing Bonus counts against the 2023 salary cap, even if the player does not make the roster. Would indicate Quindell Johnson is well-regarded and a priority signing. Would still take the accuracy of this List with a grain-of-salt; and, of course, these signings are a work-in-progress.

Three additions reported thus far today, makes a total of 20 undrafted free agents.

Collin Duncan (S)
Cameron McCutcheon (CB)
Ryan Smenda (LB)

Square potentially can be that kind of ILB the Rams need to play with Jones. That said he's definitely a work in progress, but he offers STs value with his speed. With his work ethic and good coaching he could develop into a decent player. At the very least he could make the PS this year. Character and work ethic are important to the Rams.

Nick Scott came in raw as hell but worked hard and became a very good FS. If not with the Rams, Square could make it onto a roster somewhere. Michael Hoecht was a raw but talented UDFA and is an example of what drive, work ethic and talent can do.

Some players just have perfect names for broadcasters, I can hear it now, Square really Squared him up right at the line of scrimmage. I believe it will either be Square or Jake Hummel that will start opposite Jones not Rozebloom.

Anybody by chance heard of Brett Neilon OC from USC?

Hey was on track to have a fantastic season and 2023 and he tore his ACL mid October, he's probably unsigned now and wont' be ready to late in the year or next year. I'd love to put this guy in the pipeline and I'd rather give him a shot than Allen or Shelton.

SO, we had 44 on roster, drafted 14, picked up 20 to date. By what date do we need to pick up 12 more bodies?

Was just re-watching some Day 3 coverage; and, at the beginning of the day, ESPN's experts (Kiper, McShay and Riddick) each gave their three Best Available heading into the 4th Round.

Riddick had LSU guard Bradford who was drafted just a few minutes later near the top of the fourth round, wide receiver Wicks was taken by the Packers in the fifth round; and Riddick's third Best Available heading into Day 3 was safety Quindell Johnson who the Rams reportedly gave a $30,000 bonus to sign with them as an undrafted free agent.

There's no deadline. Ninety is the max. Teams don't have to get to 90 but almost all do.

McVay and Snead have stated that there was no urgency to get to the max.

Also, I don't believe the draft-class technically counts to the 90-man-limit until they actually sign contracts.

Thanks, wasn't sure if it was a player union requirement or not. I assume they all get to the 90 limit because of the probabilities of injuries and having to cut guys along and along.

Thank you for posting it this way, because at this point, it really doesn’t matter when a guy was picked or how he ended up on the team. It’s about building the best roster.

I’m excited about several new additions, both drafted and undrafted.
