Im iffy on this draft. I am in the minority, in that Im okay with the way our OL ended. But how the fuck, did we not take LB?

There is a lit of LB depth in round 3... I want a DL capable of rushing the passer. If Donald misses anytime they are screwed. Just a bunch of try hard guys and thats it.

I went back and didnt see anything like that. I dont know where it is ur talking about, but i want to see. Can u rewind and take a pic?
Cant rewind it but I swear it was the helmet that is the pic going around now on the net.Someone hopefully caught it like I did and clarifie it.It was flashed right before they said the name of the guy we picked.I think they just shown a sneak pic of our new helmets.

Look at all of the Ram receivers. They are all underrated. People said they were slow. The key to why they have been successful is that they run great routes. They are smart. Woods? Kupp? now Jefferson?
With Kupp and Reynolds both up and no depth behind them, it was a very good pick.

Definitely. Certainly they're more sold on LT being ok. Jones would have sat on the bench too and that is hard to commit to that when you want to restart the offensive engine.

And they can still supplement the OL. This thing ain't over yet.

They will get someone for the oline and a linebacker, coming up soon.

Imo this is a correct strategy, very well executed. Rams didn't trade down for some slight gain in a late round. They went for pro-ready impact players. (YES!) They almost certainly got players they had targeted. They went for offense first as I suspected they might.

These are both highly talented offensive skill players. They appear to have been selected in part for skill and mental approach and in part for their fit on the Rams' O. There could have been other choices at these positions, but these are the players McVay wanted.

Akers will likely be starting this year right away and I suspect Jefferson will not be far behind him. He is a cerebral player with great mastery of the position-- McVay's kind of guy. A great route runner. Big enough.

Yes, the Oline has to come through, and yes they still need help there. Stay tuned. But adding these two guys takes us a long step back toward being an unstoppable offense.

McVay is reloading the shotgun on offense.

Here's a pic. Best I could do. It only flashed across the screen like one second.

LOL I mean technically you're right. I actually love Akers and think Jefferson's route running is suuuuuper interesting. His routes are actually nasty af. But Henderson/Brown with Woods/Kupp/Reynolds/Higbee/Everett didnt seem like the end of the world to me. I think we had the depth already on the roster to move forward with them if we wanted to. I'm more concerted with OL and LB. But cant be too mad at what McVay has done through three years so I hope we have a plan for the OL. Is adding zero talent to the 31st rated OL in 2019 is a bold strategy or idiotic? Hmm
Sneaky Pete has been doing it for years. Then again, they may have won another Super Bowl if he hadn't.

Here's the thing: we needed an outside receiver. Mims was right there. We needed an inside linebacker. Baun was right there. And you pick a slot receiver who probably won't be any better than Kupp is.

@Memento I hear you but I wasn't even talking about that lol he could be a bust I was just asking if you saw any similarities little as they might be?

That being said if he is half the player Kupp is or as good as Kupp I'd say that's a score. We still have Reynolds but if you have three excellent route runners technicians if you will and one with some speed woods underated speed and Kupp is just a great player. That's a tremendous help for the quarterback. I liked Mims as well o wrote that earlier but he does have a ways to go for his route running. We kind of have a Mims in Reynolds no looking at it from another p.o.v. Of course none of this means shit if they can't keep Good upright.
Would you be a fan of a trade up for Jones?
