I rarely comment on the draft , but this has been a head scratcher to me. Your left tackle is 60 years old and they haven’t had a stud LB in years , and you draft a RB and the 18th ranked WR.
Worst off season I can remember including the horrible years.
McVay and Snead are trending down. IMO

bold observation there... u put your money where your mouth is...food for thought....nice post

Did you guys catch the rams helmet they shown right before the pick.It has horns of the logo on helmet.

I went back and didnt see anything like that. I dont know where it is ur talking about, but i want to see. Can u rewind and take a pic?

Here's the thing: we needed an outside receiver. Mims was right there. We needed an inside linebacker. Baun was right there. And you pick a slot receiver who probably won't be any better than Kupp is.

Not mad at the player at all, but we're not filling holes. That is the scary thing. Is it the end of the world if we enter the season with Floyd and Ebukam on the edges? No not too bad b/c our DL will be stacked. But what are we going to do with ILB and OL? Travin Howard and Natrez Patrick going to get some time this yr.

Round 2 • Pick 25 (57)

Sean McVay loves polished route runners with rock-solid games. Jefferson is a pro-ready pass catcher with outstanding hands and ball skills. He should slide into the starting lineup as a WR3 in the Rams' three-receiver sets.

EDIT: I really dislike that logo

You don't draft for need you draft BPA with a slight concession for need if needed. That's what sets up long term success.

They are letting the draft come to them which is very smart this year. Edge players are going to go off the boards in the 3rd. If Snead makes a move IMO it will be then to get an edge. This isn't a particularly great year for CB's and WR's though deep this draft were coming off the boards early. I have no problem at all with Akers. He's another Henderson like player so in rotation the offense doesn't change at all. His style of play like Henderson strengthens my belief they are moving to a power inside run attack.

Got no complaints with this draft so far. Two good players giving them depth and versatility. IMO I've never been 100% sold on Reynolds. His route running is still inconsistent and more worrisome is his penchant to drop throws as it shows a lack of focus and concentration. They still need another CB and a true OLB. as well as an edge.

Seems the Rams don't have confidence Josh Reynolds can be the #3 WR. Personally I don't either. Not a great route runner and doesn't fight for the ball.

Im iffy on this draft. I am in the minority, in that Im okay with the way our OL ended. But how the fuck, did we not take LB?
Calm down Juggs plenty of talent left in the LB pool! Gay Jr. among others in the 3rd.

That said I feel all sad like someone looking at someone on the street seeing something they want in the glass of the store. I want Zach baun.

Sorry but IMO you draft BPA at position of need. Look at the draft and that is exactly what is happening and its true with all drafts. The BPA is fine when you don't have positions of need, and when is that?

But... They were holes vacated by Gurley and Cooks.

LOL I mean technically you're right. I actually love Akers and think Jefferson's route running is suuuuuper interesting. His routes are actually nasty af. But Henderson/Brown with Woods/Kupp/Reynolds/Higbee/Everett didnt seem like the end of the world to me. I think we had the depth already on the roster to move forward with them if we wanted to. I'm more concerted with OL and LB. But cant be too mad at what McVay has done through three years so I hope we have a plan for the OL. Is adding zero talent to the 31st rated OL in 2019 is a bold strategy or idiotic? Hmm
