Can't argue anymore...I took a long time to jump off the Fisher wagon, but I'm clear of it...To quote a often-used phrase: NEXT MAN UP !!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately Keenums floor and ceiling are about the same. I'm not sure if Mannions floor is higher than Goffs. When Goff throws the ball, even just warming up, he looks the part of a true #1 QB. His release and follow through, just look like he was born to play QB, Mannions release looks slooow compared to Goff. Mannion may make the read quicker than Goff, but once Goff makes the decision to throw the ball it is almost on the receiver. And he can throw with touch and will improve on this with reps, when Mannion tries to get rid of the ball quick he only throws rockets IMO.

Fisher will not tip his hand til Friday,but I would not be surprised to see Goff see his first action this week at home, and then remain the starter for the next 17 games.

Monday night was Fishers practical joke on the NFL, seattle will try to copy what sf did, which will take them out of what they do real well and Goff will light them up.


At least thats what the voices in my head said when they were trying to make me feel better yesterday, I hope they are right this time.

You're right and I knew that, just typed that all out without thinking it through. But that really is why I am hoping they overlooked the whiners, thinking things would be better this time around, and seeing them as a joke since they were worse than us last year plus had Chip Kelly taking over, who has taken a lot of shots since failing as GM.

My fear of course is that the game result was no mistake, that the whiners are already a better team than us. We'll have to wait and see on that, but I do think they match up well with Carolina too and might upset them this weekend.

Keenum should never touch the field again unless there is an injury.

If the offense did it's part I don't think we'd be talking about the defense much today.

We normally lock this thread about 24 hours after the game. This week's deserved a little longer opening.

I made it through the Rams 17 straight losses to the Whiners. I can get by this too.

They need to put Goff in and go more down field. Get Britt and Quick more involved. The slants qith both of them was working. Tavon just not working as a outside receiver. If you get Britt and Quick going it will open up for Tavon and open up for Gurley. Also they might as well get Mike Thomas in the Game

I didn't listen to the guy, but all I have to say about the game Monday night is that the Rams didn't look that bad at the end of the season last year. WTF happened between then and now ? It's the same offense we had last year minus Cook, so what gives ? We started with Foles and we beat Seattle. Ended with Keenum going 3-2 but at least we scored 2 to 3 TDs in each game. Monday was just horrible.

That's nuts. WTf, I feared as much when Fisher had no choice but to hire his tight end coach as OC. This team will never enter the new millennium with Fisher's household on the offense.

It certainly did seem like the Niner defense knew what was happening before they should.

That sure appeared to be true, although I'd be hard pressed to see a tree out there. Seemed like 2 or 3 really basic routes, which Case stared down.
