Offensive players and depth chart competition

0, 9, 37, 17 It looks a lot like last year if you ask me. I don't see much improvement. Quick still has a lot to prove. How about a 6+ catch game, or no drops for a few games. I like Britt. Keenum still falls just a bit short (pardon the pun) for me. I love the wins and see some modest improvements in his game but not enough to post about. When they start getting up to that 24 points a game threshold, that is when I will get excited about the O. When they are capable of controlling the clock for two minutes to end a game, or even one minute, then I will relax and feel confident.
Thank god we get to play Tampa

Take red flags away from Coach Fisher

^^^^THIS^^^^

As #Bruce2980 stated, we were at the game and they WERE NOT showing the replays that you all saw at home. I know, I DVR'd the game and watched it when I got home. Seeing the TV replay would of sent me yelling at Fisher because it was so clear there was no challenge (even though I was trying to stretch the rules on the Austin catch saying his hand hit the turf and caused the ball to move).

Jim Thomas - NFL Chat - 10/4/16

Most answers seemed to be fair. Couple of shots, but I don't see what everyone is whining about. Better than most weeks.
And he did admit to wanting bullets to feed his hate gun. But at least he was up front and honest about the haterade they all drink to the point of illness that is the forum who's name cannot be spoken in such a fine hall as this.

Plus you kind of have to pity the man a little when you consider the people he writes for/to.

Rethink what you know

Wow, those are some seriously good words for Donald!

Too many Ram players giving interviews this week...bad, bad, bad. Takes away the focus.....the Rams aren't mature enough for this. Even Tavon said they were 'reading their own press clippings' (paraphrase) after 4 exhibition games.

They are still the youngest team and they haven't proven enough to be a playoff team, yet....though we all know that this is a real possibility if the offense develops.

This is the granny in me, I guess. Whatever, lol

Heads Up: Mark Barron On Jim Rome Show at 11:35PST

I could understand Mark Barron. You guys are funny.
He is definitely one of my favorite players on this team. My brother is a Buccaneers fan, and he's always pissed about TB being a training ground for good players to go somewhere else and excel. So I had my eye on this guy from that perspective. I like his last comment the best. He doesn't rate anything hard, if it needs to get done, just go and do it.
I also like what GW said about him, he told his coaching staff to not say anything to Barron, if he asks a question, answer the question and say nothing else, this guy is a natural, absolutely amazing player.

A Case Keenum Thread!

I was happy ...
... when Austin Davis threw 17 of 20, 2 TD, 0 INT to beat the Seahawks...
... when Kellen Clemens beat Indy 38-8...
... when Shaun Hill led the team to back-to-back wins of 52-0 and 24-0 ...
... when Nick Foles threw 16 of 24, 3 TD, 0 INT to beat Arizona ...

Now I'm happy to add the time Case Keenum helped the team go 3-1 to open the year.
But I think in the end it's just going to be another line in the same list.

Pretty much this. Keenum is too limited to be the long-term solution. Hopefully he can keep scarping out some wins for us, until Goff is ready.

Former Rams Poll

I'll be happy for guys when they have success on other teams, but I only follow guys week to week who were legends or I was a huge fan of.

Guys I kept tabs on week to week once they left:
Bruce, Holt, Jackson

I voted indifferent - invisible

Translates to sometimes depending on player's character and play, as others have discussed.

Eventually, they sort of disappear to me. I lost track of Holt....did he finish as a Cheater?

Two that I followed
Gabriel when he was traded to the Eagles - hated that
Dickerson - hated that one too

Who’s the team to beat in the NFC?
Posted by Mike Florio on October 3, 2016

More than 40 percent of you think the Broncos are the team to beat in the AFC. So who’s the team to beat in the NFC?

Glad you asked, because that’s the question we’re asking on Tuesday’s PFT Live on NBC Sports Radio and NBCSN.

So vote early, vote often, and if you ultimately think there isn’t a single worthy candidate, vote for no one — or vote for the one most likely to beat the candidate that scares the bejeepers out of you.

We’re still talking about football, right?

Anyway, feel free to battle it out in the comments, or to complain about who we added to the list and who we omitted.

Who's the team to beat in the NFC?

Eagles: 3-0
Falcons: 3-1
Seahawks: 3-1
Giants: 2-1
Packers: 2-1
Vikings: 3-0
Seahogs arent the team to beat. the Rams have shown everyone how to take them down. winning close games at least gives the Rams the confidence that they can do so. that last TD drive was huge for Keenum (i must admit it was a very good pass / catch by Quick-----nice adjustment to the ball------have to give props to 2 of my biggest question mark players on the team). maybe this is the game that gets Quick mentally right from here on out.
what on earth is wrong with the running game ?? maybe some of these big gains on passes might loosen things up, but wholly schmoley its been downright embarrassing. play action doesnt work unless both facets of the offense are moving forward. nice punt return by austin, and finally a face mask penalty on the opponents as well.
