We have 6 players alive, 2 with ZERO strikes!

Great season, guys!

(1-Strike) @HighDesertRam @Reddog99 @SuperMan28 @Tron

(0-Strikes) @dieterbrock and @Ram65

Best and most competitive season in the last 5yrs, for sure! I do not recall anyone making an entire season with zero strikes.

Let’s see where we stand after the final week!

PICK’EM

This was equally competitive and back-and-forth until the last few weeks and now its @SuperMan28 game to lose. He has 163pts, with @MolaRam in second place at 159.

@alp @Deacon75 have 158pts for third place. Still very impressive.

At 157pts we have @DzRams @blackbart @Ground Chuck

At 156 @dieterbrock

GREAT SEASON in Pick’em! The leaderboard was switching every week all season.

Good luck to everyone our final week!

Thank you for playing! It’s all for fun and you can’t win if you don’t play.

Rams second favorite to win the Super Bowl.

I was just thinking about placing a bet on a site that I've never used before that offers you a free bet the first time.

I know UK and US betting differ, and I know the odds will differ, but I was surprised to see that the Rams were second favourites after the Seahawks at 11/2.

In case you don't know how it works over here, that means if I put £10 on, I get £55 back.

But those odds suck when you've got the Eagles and Pats both at 9 to 1.

I think I'll still put £30 on (the minimum amount to get the free £30 bet) because, unlike a few round here at the moment, in McVay I trust!

Rams PFF grades: Best and worst performers in loss to Falcons

offense

  • WR Puka Nacua: 85.3
  • TE Terrance Ferguson: 82.6
  • WR Xavier Smith: 77.0
  • RT Warren McClendon Jr.: 73.8
  • RB Kyren Williams: 72.8
  • QB Matthew Stafford: 70.5
  • TE Colby Parkinson: 55.6
  • WR Tutu Atwell: 54.0
  • WR Konata Mumpfield: 52.4
  • RB Blake Corum: 50.8
  • C Coleman Shelton: 43.5
  • LT D.J. Humphries: 38.8

defense

  • DT Kobie Turner: 84.7
  • OLB Byron Young: 83.7
  • CB Ahkello Witherspoon: 70.3
  • S Kamren Curl: 69.8
  • DT Tyler Davis: 68.2
  • LB Nate Landman: 63.4
  • CB Emmanuel Forbes Jr.: 58.9
  • DL Braden Fiske: 50.6
  • OLB Jared Verse: 49.1
  • LB Omar Speights: 48.2
  • S Kamren Kinchens: 47.3
  • DT Poona Ford: 34.2

Verse had three pressures but missed a whopping five tackles.

Speights missed two tackles and had eight combined tackles in the loss, pressuring Cousins once on a blitz.

Kinchens took some poor angles in this game and had one missed tackle with three receptions allowed, including one touchdown

Ford finished with one pressure and one stop and didn't miss any tackles.

Poona was held a lot. Grade seems quite low.

I was at the game......

A couple ROD members were there too (maybe more). @Ramhusker sorry I missed ya at STATS.

I kinda knew once the #1 seed was not in play the wind would be out of the sails for the team, and obviously it showed in the 1st half. Just no juice, they looked disinterested, they are not robots so I get it. Not an excuse, just the way it is.

Showed lot of heart coming back from 21-0 to tie it, they could have mailed it in, but to their credit, they did not.

I'm going to bet when this thing "re-sets" in a couple of weeks so you are going to see a team fired up, hungry, and ready to prove the doubters wrong, including many on this board, heck maybe thats what they need (along with health).

So jump off the bandwagon if you want. I don't care if we go to Philly, Charlotte, or Tampa, we win that game and then get that wind back in our sails and all bets are off. I'm betting on these guys.

Solid showing from the Rams fans in Atlanta on a Monday night after Christmas. Pretty much took over STATS pub before the game.

Would I have loved for the team to win, 100%, but really this game meant little in the overall scheme of things.

Hang with these guys, these guys remind me a LOT of the 2025 LA DODGERS.

What have I learned about this team.

That Lake is very important to this defense. Ever since he got hurt, this defense has been shit. We need to resign him as soon as possible. We also need him back for the playoff if we want to go anywhere. We also need Witherspoon back too, does anyone know why he's not playing?

Next year's draft, we need to get a WR and CB in the first round. We need to get help for Puka. He's the best WR in the NFL, but the way he plays, he could become another Cooper Kupp. Have a few good years but always hurt after that. We need a another good WR to some of the pressure off of him.

In a year with no great teams.....

...any one of five NFC teams and MAYBE three AFC teams can win the Super Bowl.

1) Rams - just play relatively cleanly and they can and will beat anyone.
2) Philly - if they continue to crank up their defense and get just enough from Hurts.
3) Seattle - might be playing at home with a bye. Still, Darnold....
4) SF - they might be playing at home throughout. But can that defense hold up?
5) Chicago - turnovers and magical endings cannot last; defense suspect, but that run game at home is tough

1) NE - been playing very consistently and don't beat themselves. Too young though?
2) Houston - that defense, with a little offense, is very dangerous.
3) Jax - look out, they are the team no one will want to play.

Thoughts?

Some Positivity

Injuries happen throughout the season. We’ve been fortunate to have blinders through the first 3/4 of the season to not believe they would impact our Rams, which they didn’t,

Should injuries happen down the stretch, I felt the following players had good games and will be threats despite injuries to our starters:

1. Xavier Smith - He was consistently getting open. Anyone not named Nacua will need to get separation. He caught my eye tonight and in the return game.

2. McClendon - I had my doubts about him, but he had another solid game. Didn’t hear him get mentioned once and rarely saw pressure from the right side of the line.

3. Witherspoon - His snaps were limited, and didn’t give up much ground, But good to see, hopefully he’s out of the doghouse and we’ll either have solid backups between him or DWill.
