I like it. The only changes I’d make would be to add Willie Lampkin to the Oline, and remove Hampton from OLB, or not include Dedich to the Oline, and keep Hampton. Still deciding.
I can see that. Hampton is borderline for me. I haven't seen enough to feel he's for sure safe and he's been around for several years. I think Dedich stays. He showed well last year.

Nailed it on the 53rd too. As I was looking it over, I was thinking just how confident can we be that Leveston could be the backup LT and man, those CBs need SOMETHING/ANYTHING. I just don’t see enough size or speed back there. My concern is what happens if our aging starters show their inevitable decline THIS year? Not sure even ramsey would be the answer.
Yeah both concerning issues. I don't see a backup LT on the roster but they must or they're going to sign someone.

It seems the plan is to go with an average CB room with a plus plus pass rush.

I'm saying that Hampton is gone....really was surprised he made the team last year to be honest. Mebbe he's a Special Teams maven or something but that's about it.....

Some of the fringe players such as a 4th running back or tight end, etc., may come down to which of these players excel on special teams, IMO/

The Rams will keep 4 TE’s with health permitting.

No one else seems to want to guess, but I'll go with this opening day roster.

QB: Matthew Stafford, Jimmy Garoppolo (2)

RB: Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, Jarquez Hunter, Ronnie Rivers (4)

WR: Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith (6)

TE: Tyler Higbee, Terrance Ferguson, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen (4)

OL: Alaric Jackson, Steve Avila, Coleman Shelton, Kevin Dotson, Rob Havenstein, Beaux Limmer, K.T. Leveston, Warren McClendon Jr., Justin Dedich, Trey Wedig, Willie Lamkin (11)

DL: Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske, Poona Ford, Ty Hamilton, Tyler Davis (5)

EDGE: Jared Verse, Byron Young, Josaiah Stewart, Brennan Jackson, Nick Hampton (5)

ILB: Omar Speights, Nate Landman, Chris Paul Jr., Shaun Dolac (4)

CB: Ahkello Witherspoon, Cobie Durant, Darious Williams (or Jalen Ramsey), Emmanuel Forbes Jr., Josh Wallace (5)

S: Quentin Lake, Kamren Kinchens, Kam Curl, Jaylen McCollough (4)

LS: Alex Ward
P: Ethan Evans
K: Josh Karty

I could definitely see the Rams go with that kind of roster, especially if Wedig and Lampkin show out. Can't imagine leaving Desjuan off the roster when he's the only real pass-rushing threat amongst the backups, but I can see the Rams doing it.

A good guesstimate.

Okay.. I'll play...

QB: Matthew Stafford, Jimmy Garoppolo (2)

RB: Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, Jarquez Hunter (3)

WR: Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith (6)

TE: Tyler Higbee, Terrance Ferguson, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen (4)

OL: Alaric Jackson, Steve Avila, Coleman Shelton, Kevin Dotson, Rob Havenstein, Beaux Limmer, K.T. Leveston, Warren McClendon Jr., Justin Dedich, unnamed veteran swing. (10)

DL: Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske, Poona Ford, Ty Hamilton, Tyler Davis, Desjuan Johnson(6)

EDGE: Jared Verse, Byron Young, Josaiah Stewart, Brennan Jackson, Nick Hampton (5)

ILB: Omar Speights, Nate Landman, Chris Paul Jr., Troy Reeder (4)

CB: Ahkello Witherspoon, Cobie Durant, Darious Williams, Emmanuel Forbes Jr., Jalen Ramsey and Josh Wallace (6)

S: Quentin Lake, Kamren Kinchens, Kam Curl, Jaylen McCollough (4)

LS: Alex Ward
P: Ethan Evans
K: Josh Karty

This, I could also see. I would hope that we don't leave Reeder on the roster over Dolac, but the Rams do seem to like him a lot more than we do.
QB: Matthew Stafford, Jimmy Garoppolo (2)

RB: Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, Jarquez Hunter, Ronnie Rivers (4)

WR: Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith (6)

TE: Tyler Higbee, Terrance Ferguson, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen (4)

OL: Alaric Jackson, Steve Avila, Coleman Shelton, Kevin Dotson, Rob Havenstein, Beaux Limmer, K.T. Leveston, Warren McClendon Jr., Justin Dedich (9)

DL: Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske, Poona Ford, Ty Hamilton, Tyler Davis, Desjuan Johnson(6)

EDGE: Jared Verse, Byron Young, Josaiah Stewart, Brennan Jackson, Nick Hampton (5)

ILB: Omar Speights, Nate Landman, Chris Paul Jr., Troy Reeder (4)

CB: Ahkello Witherspoon, Cobie Durant, Darious Williams, Emmanuel Forbes Jr., Derion Kendrick (5)

S: Quentin Lake, Kamren Kinchens, Kam Curl, Jaylen McCollough (4)

LS: Alex Ward
P: Ethan Evans
K: Josh Karty

If we pick up Ramsey that would be 53. If not, maybe another OL or secondary makes it.
Another good pick. I don't see what the Rams see in Kendrick, but I can't deny that he might very well make it over Wallace or Woods. Reeder being an option would also not surprise me.

QB: Matt Stafford, Jimmy Garapolo. 2

RB: Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, Jarquez Hunter, Ronnie Rivers. 4

WR: Davonte Adams, Puka Nacua, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith. 6

TE: Tyler Higbee, Terrence Ferguson, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen. 4

OL: Rob Havenstein, Kevin Dotson, Coleman Shelton, Steve Avila, Alaric Jackson, KT Leviston, Beaux Limmer, Justin Dedich, Willie Lampkin, Warren McClendon. 10

OLB/Edge: Jared Verse, Byron Young, Josiah Stewart, Brennan Jackson: 4

ILB: Omar Speights, Nate Landman, Willie (Pooh) Paul, Shaun Dolac. 4

DL: Kobie Turner, Poona Ford, Braden Fiske, Tyler Davis, Ty Hamilton, Desjaun Johnson. 6

CB: Kobie Durant, Ahkello Witherspoon, Derion Kendrick, Darius Williams, Emanuel Forbes Jr, Jalen Ramsey. 6

S: Kam Curl, Kam Kinchens, Quentin Lake, Jaylen McCulough. 4

K: Josh Karty
P: Ethan Evans
LS: Alex Ward.

I could see them doing that as well. Little less likely leaving off Hampton, considering his value on teams, but the cornerbacks and safeties could compensate for that.

Might as well start with mine:

Quarterback (2) - Matthew Stafford, Jimmy Garoppolo.

(No real surprises. Matthew Stafford is going to start every game, get us to the playoffs with another division win, and lead us to his second Super Bowl, before retiring. Garoppolo merely backs up, and plays a mop-up game against whichever NFC West team we play last...and we still win.

Running back (5) - Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, Cody Schrader (KR), Jarquez Hunter (KR), Willie Lampkin (FB/OC).

(Yes, Lampkin surviving final cuts to be a fullback/backup center is a real surprise. The running back position, I feel, will be cut to four if K-Will is traded at the deadline. If that's the case, I see an opening for another running back possibly not on the roster. I think Hunter will sit on the bench to learn pass-protection, at first, with occasional snaps at kick return to pair with Schrader (whom I think we keep because he's one of the better receiving backs on our roster, which nudges out Rivers) but will take occasional snaps. Corum is the real star, though; I think he'll excel.)

Wide receiver (6) - Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington, Chatarius Atwell, Tru Edwards, Xavier Smith (PR).

(Surprising, no? I'll be honest: I love Tru Edwards as a prospect. Possibly Mumpfield makes it, but I don't know if he's ever been a punt returner. Otherwise, I think Whittington takes the slot role by storm, while Atwell is our deep threat (and a possibility to be traded, maybe?). Don't worry; Mumpfield makes the practice squad. I'm not counting him out entirely; I'm just saying that I like Edwards more.)

Tight end (3) - Tyler Higbee, Terrance Ferguson, Davis Allen.

(With a fullback in the mix, we'll have less at tight end. Parkinson is immediately cut without remorse in June, screw the cap. Higbee is still your starter for at least one season, while Ferguson learns the position and plays on obvious passing downs. Allen is your third tight end, but if Davis Allen is your third tight end, I think you're doing all right as a team.)

Offensive line (8) - Alaric Jackson, Steve Avila, Coleman Shelton, Kevin Dotson, Rob Havenstein, Beaux Limmer, KT Leveston, Dylan McMahon.

(A little surprising, but I could see this happening. KT Leveston, if healthy, is your swing tackle for now; he's had experience everywhere except center, which is where Limmer and McMahon - the latter of whom also is your swing guard - comes in. I think Limmer takes Shelton's job midseason, leaving him, McMahon, and Lampkin as your backup centers. I also think Havenstein retires after our inevitable Super Bowl victory - and if he doesn't, he's an older unrestricted free agent anyway, so I think we spend a high pick on an offensive tackle for our offensive line.)

Defensive line (6) - Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske, Poona Ford, Desjuan Johnson, Tyler Davis, Ty Hamilton.

(No real surprises. I think Johnson is a better option than Murchison as both pass rusher and run stopper. Davis and Hamilton back up Ford and Turner, so that we don't miss a beat. We're going to dominate on run defense, people!)

Linebacker (9) - Jared Verse, Byron Young, Nate Landman, Omar Speights, Brennan Jackson, Josaiah Stewart, Nick Hampton, Chris Paul Jr., Shaun Dolac.

(Yes, another undrafted free agent inside linebacker makes this team! Verse, Young, B-Jax, and Stewart should be a dominating pass rushing group, Landman and Speights will stuff the run, while CPJ comes in for passing downs. Hampton and Dolac are your special teams aces.)

Defensive back (11) - Akhello Witherspoon, Cobie Durant, Jalen Ramsey (STAR/SAF), Kamren Kinchens, Kam Curl, Darious Williams (slot corner), Emmanuel Forbes, Josh Wallace, Charles Woods, Quentin Lake, Jaylen McCollough.

(Yep, we're getting Ramsey back! ...I hope. Anyway, that helps with the STAR position. Lake is a fantastic player, but Ramsey is an upgrade and provides a huge boost. Cobie Durant, I feel, will finally unlock his potential in a contract year, while D-Will is your nickel corner. Kinchens should excel this year, Forbes learning from Ramsey should be immensely beneficial, and he'll play as a dime corner back while he learns, although he could really surprise and end up starting instead of Durant/D-Will/whomever. Wallace, Woods, and McCollough are special teams.)

Special teams (3) - Josh Karty (K), Ethan Evans (P), Alex Ward (LS).

(Special teams remains the same. We found our punter, our kicker, and our long snapper. I hope that doesn't change in the coming seasons.)

Practice squad:

Justin Dedich (OL)
Ben Dooley (OL)
Trey Wedig (OT)
Cam Lampkin (CB)
A.J. Green (CB)
Tanner Ingle (SAF)
Nate Valcarcel (SAF)
Konata Mumpfield (WR)
Brennan Presley (WR)
Mario Williams (WR)
David Olajiga (DL, International)
Da'Jon Terry (DL)
Bill Norton (DL)
Jordan Waters (RB)
Josh Pearcy (EDGE)
Jamil Muhammad (EDGE)

(I hope we keep Dedich and Lampkin, but after their seasons, it wouldn't surprise me if they were poached. Wouldn't surprise me if Ingle and Green moved to greener pastures and a chance to play as well. Mumpfield, Presley, and Williams should be solid at receiver. Terry, Olajiga, and Norton are all big men who should be excellent run stuffers at nose tackle. Wedig is an interesting swing tackle option, while Dooley is a smart O-lineman who played everywhere for Boise State. Waters is a bigger back than anyone we have. Muhammad played a backup role at Southern Cal. Keep a close eye on Valcarcel, who was a first team MAC selection at safety, and Pearcy, who dominated his Pro Day at Rice.)

I'll probably be dead wrong, but I created this thread for everyone to share their hopeful rosters for 2025/2026.

Going to edit the thread on my thoughts, especially now that I've had a bit of time to reflect on my opinions (especially since my grandmother just passed on Saturday; I'll be going to her funeral visitation and burial on Thursday/Friday at Jefferson Barracks - as her husband, my grandfather whom I never got to meet, was a vet - and I likely won't have time to talk.) on some of the players. Here it goes:

QB - Matthew Stafford, Spencer Rattler. (2)

(Shocking, huh? Yeah, I think we trade Garoppolo to the Saints for Rattler and a swap of our third and their second; we're in a position to do that, and the Saints are in a very necessary position. Rattler's a good developmental quarterback, and an okay backup at this point in his career. He has potential; a big arm, decent mobility, and learning behind Stafford could be the best thing for him.)

RB - Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, Jarquez Hunter (KR), Cody Schrader (KR/PR), Willie Lampkin (FB). (5)

(Sticking with my earlier position with a bit of a different ideal; I think Schrader's a safe punt and kickoff returner along with Hunter being the primary threat on kickoffs. Lampkin is your hopeful Lorenzo Neal. I still think K-Will is dealt at the deadline to a needy team.)

WR - Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Jordan Whittington, Chatarius Atwell, Konata Mumpfield, Tru Edwards. (6)

(Adding on Mumpfield over Smith, since we already have a punt returner in Schrader, and even Edwards has done punt returns in college. Besides, after much reflection, I can support Mumpfield on this team. Love Smith and his story, but we can upgrade. Whittington, to me, has won the slot role, and I like Edwards' potential.)

TE - Tyler Higbee, Terrance Ferguson, Davis Allen, Jalin Conyers (Dolphins, waivers) (4)

(I look at it this way: if we traded Parkinson or cut him, would he really be a top option over Higbee or Ferguson? No. Then you look at Allen and him. Allen is younger and cheaper. Wide receivers, look at them: do you think Parkinson is going to get any catches over any of the first five, maybe six? He's a sunk cost, and we should acknowledge it. Meanwhile, Conyers is a developmental tight end who might not make the Fins' roster. Others have had interest, but given that Higbee is in a contract year and might not be re-signed, we'll need an extra tight end aside from Ferguson and Allen.)

OL - Alaric Jackson, Steve Avila, Coleman Shelton, Kevin Dotson, Rob Havenstein, Beaux Limmer, Warren McClendon, K.T. Leveston, Dylan McMahon. (9).

(Figure I can't let Dedich (backup guard), McClendon (swing tackle), Leveston (swing tackle backup), or McMahon (backup swing guard) go, as others have noted. McClendon could be a trade-chip if one of Leveston or Wedig really excel (or - I hope - we poach Hollin Pierce from the Eagles? ...Hey, a girl can dream, right?). I will continue beating the drum for Limmer to eventually start over Shelton with another year of experience and strength gains. Of course, things could really change if someone excels or falters.)

DL - Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske, Poona Ford, Desjuan Johnson, Tyler Davis, Ty Hamilton. (6)

(No changes from earlier. I still think Johnson's our best pass-rushing option as a backup. Hamilton is unproven, but he strikes me as more of a nose/5-tech backup, while Davis is a backup nose/5-tech.)

LB - Jared Verse, Byron Young, Nate Landman, Omar Speights, Josaiah Stewart, Brennan Jackson, Nick Hampton, Pooh Paul, Shaun Dolac. (9)

(No changes from the start. I could see inside linebacker be any one of the four. Stewart is going to ball out, I really feel that way, and B-Jax is going to be much improved from last year.)

DB - Akhello Witherspoon, Cobie Durant, Jalen Ramsey (STAR/SAF), Kamren Kinchens, Kam Curl, Emmanuel Forbes, Josh Wallace, Quentin Lake, Jaylen McCollough. (9)

(Yeah, trading D-Will sucks, but he could fetch a bit more than Tre'Davious White did, and someone has to go to support Ramsey making the team - which is my primary goal at this point: upgrading cornerback. Sucks for Woods and Lampkin to go down as well, but the defensive backs are pretty much stacked.)

ST - Josh Karty, Ethan Evans, Alex Ward.

(No surprises, thank holy fate. Hopefully there won't be any surprises.)

Practice Squad:

Charles Woods (CB)
Cam Lampkin (CB)
Nate Valcarcel (SAF)
Malik Dixon-Williams (SAF)
Justin Dedich (OG)
Trey Wedig (OT)
Ben Dooley (OG)
Wyatt Bowles (OG)
Brennan Presley (WR)
Mario Williams (WR)
Marcus Yarns (RB/WR, Saints)
Kier Thomas (EDGE)
Josh Pearcy (EDGE)
Jamil Muhammad (EDGE)
Bill Norton (DL)
Da'Jon Terry (DL)

(Woods, Thomas, and Dedich are my veterans on the practice squad. Lampkin is an interesting corner, while I actually really like Valcarcel to possibly take over from Curl/Lake/both; he played outstanding in the MAC. Dixon-Williams could also surprise; he had seven career picks and eighteen pass breakups. Wedig, Dooley, and Bowles are all interesting linemen. Presley and Williams are smaller receivers, but talented, and I want to poach Yarns for when we trade Williams. Neal returns as an inside linebacker, while Pearcy is a really interesting edge rusher who crushed his Pro Day. Norton and Terry are both big men who could fit as nose tackles.)

So, yeah, my updated - still crazy - thoughts.
