Just doesn't fly. A hitter can do it all by himself.

A QB needs a receiver, or a RB, and an offensive line blocking for him, in order to score.

All a hitter need do if the game is tied, is hit a HR and it's over. Nothing team about that.

Also, correlating an 0-4, when a 30% success rate is fantastic in baseball, isn't quite sufficient a comparison to FB when you better be at least around 60% efficiency.

Also, this should be the end of the insulting "trickery" comments Seattle fans like to use against the Rams in the win we had at home this season. They couldn't even get on the board today until they pulled that trick play out of the bag. As soon as they ran it I was like "Well, well, well, look what we have here!"

I don't care if our QB has legendary stats all game just as long as he comes through in the clutch, Wilson almost always does. Wish we had him.

I find it funny that people can hate Wilson, yes the D was great today, but wilson did pull through and the Seahawks win the game. I find it funny that people can say that Wilson is nothing and that its the rest of the team, essentially saying that the QB position isn't critical, whereas the Rams are only a QB away from the play offs, i just get confused by these double standards.

I for one am a little annoyed that we didn't pick him up in 2012, we had loads of picks in round 1 & 2, in hindsight a good backup QB should have been one of those 'extra' picks...

Wilson isn't NOTHING... but he's way over-rated, and this is far from the first game where he wasn't the reason his team won.

A guy that throws 4 picks and has to rely on his defense for the game not being 28-0 or worse?

Pleeeeeeeeeeeasssssssssseeeeeeeee.

I don't want anything to do with Wussell. W/e contract he gets will be an albatross.

Yeah let's go off one game when judging a player .

I would be too, because that was a terrible performance by Wilson. My point is many will praise Wilson for this comeback win when he had a lot to do with why they had to come back in the first place. Btw, has Sam even had a performance as bad as this one in his career?

According to passer rating Sam's game @ Chicago was worse, but I'd have to go for those 27 consecutive games where his total stats were zero completions on zero attempts for zero yards, zero TDs and zero interceptions they sucked pretty bad.

Yes, he has bad games - EVERY QB does, but, re-read what you said, basically you're saying even on bad days they win. You have to admit there have been some games where he's been on fire too. You can't take it away from the guy his playoff record is damn fine. Arguably A-Rod is a better QB, arguably Payton Manning is, however Wilson is in the SB again this year whether its him or the team, and I wouldn't be surprised if they railroad New England like they did Denver last year...

let me ask you for an honest answer to a simple question.

If the Rams had Wilson under centre - do you think we'd have had a winning season, if not reached the playoffs in the last 2 seasons?

My answer is a resounding YES.

In fairness if you take his career stats he is probably not a Top 10 QB. Wilson is a good QB for his team. He is the kind of QB the Rams could use. He is not a QB yet that can carry his team. Without Lynch Seattle does not win.

He's a good QB in this league. Impressive because he overcomes his physical limitations (and has great other physical traits like his agility/speed to be fair). Overrated - yes. But he's doing a decent job.

Agree with you 100% but that does not make him a great QB. You could make the arguement if Hill was under center all year we would of made the playoffs. So the resounding yes is not so impressive .

I've watched plenty of his games, especially this season. If you play him intelligent, he's awful. You hardly ever seem him make tough passes. He usually has to scramble to get anyone open, and get them wide open, so he doesn't have to put the ball in a tight window.

He's a more athletic Manziel imo. More intelligent too. But if I had the choice, that still isn't the kind of QB I want on my team, especially with the money he's going to command because his game relies so heavily on his legs.
