In the minds of the vast majority of "draft experts"So you're saying he's not a first round pick?![]()
Same guys two months ago.In the minds of the vast majority of "draft experts"
Vast majority of "draft experts" didn't have Ricky Pearsall in the 1st round just last year.In the minds of the vast majority of "draft experts"
Bech is not a slot WR. Unless that's where you are projecting him.The point is no way that guy warrants a first and Mcvay changing offense no need for a bunch of slot receivers they need a x reciver puka and Whittington got the slot
Wrong, and lot did and some even had us taking him.Vast majority of "draft experts" didn't have Ricky Pearsall in the 1st round just last year.
That’s what he projects in nflBech is not a slot WR. Unless that's where you are projecting him.
But he only played about 25% or so snaps from the slot last year.
I didn't see them. It stopped at Thomas with Worthy and Coleman on the borderline from what I saw. But I guess it depends upon whom one considers "draft experts."Wrong, and lot did and some even had us taking him.
Not so sure he's limited to the slot. I'm seeing a lot of Puka comparisons and he isn't.That’s what he projects in nfl
Looks like a boom or bust prospect to me.I have a question but not sure if this is the place to put it.
What do people think of his teammate Savion Williams? Seems like an elite athlete just raw as a WR. Could he be a guy to snatch in the 3rd and develop plays around?
Puka not limited to slot but that’s where he’s best atNot so sure he's limited to the slot. I'm seeing a lot of Puka comparisons and he isn't.
That's true. Of course, Ricky put up absurd numbers at the Combine. Bech's numbers were good, but they weren't elite. (And he didn't run the 40.)Vast majority of "draft experts" didn't have Ricky Pearsall in the 1st round just last year.
Also it's a huge difference a guy projected to go mid 2nd at the latest going 31st to a guy a lot say is a 5th rounder going in the 1st. It's not even a comparison so I'll just drop it.I didn't see them. It stopped at Thomas with Worthy and Coleman on the borderline from what I saw. If there is a such thing, I don't consider most of the people making mock drafts that are found on the mock draft database site "draft experts." You've got a site and put up a mock draft and boom there it is. I prefer the guys that actually talk (or claim) to NFL teams.
Edit.
Had a little time and looked through about 10 or so from 2024 and I have yet to find one with him in the 1st round.
You might really want to change the "draft experts" you follow or at the very least wait for their updated rankings? 5th rounder? Since the Senior Bowl? Also it's a huge difference a guy projected to go mid 2nd at the latest going 31st to a guy a lot say is a 5th rounder going in the 1st. I thought Kupp was worthy of a first round pick. But they got him a few rounds later. In the end this is a dated thread, but the main point is that if a team is really sold on and want a player in the NFL draft, why not used a 1st rounder on him?
If the Rams at the time believed that Puka Nacua would turn out to be as good as he has and used a 1st rounder on him a couple years back would anyone be upset?
I think Williams has a lot of potential for a team looking to stretch the field often. I like him in that role for the Rams because of his size/speed combo, but at what point does McVay stop using him because he doesn’t run great routes. I wouldn’t want them to use an early pick on him since he’s still a bit raw.I have a question but not sure if this is the place to put it.

I would say because if your personnel department is putting out feelers around the league and confirms that you are much, much higher on that prospect than everybody else then that would be an opportunity lost on another player you have a high evaluation on when you could get your targeted player later. In the end this is a dated thread, but the main point is that if a team is really sold on and want a player in the NFL draft, why not used a 1st rounder on him?
