I kept saying the Rams by 14 pts. They are they better team. If Beckhams not injured it’s a different game. If Higbee and Blanton are healthy the Rams would have run the ball and the game would have been completely different.

But I still believed the entire.

Only issue during the season was prior to the COVID game, Morris was in some really bad patterns, but since? Nah... all faith.

I even posted here, I think, that after that SF loss in the reg season I was just calm... like not even upset. I just felt certain that we were gonna win it all.

Not that this Cardiac Crew haven't raised my blood pressure to insane levels, but yeah... total faith.

I can't even imagine what a healthy Rams roster would've done in that game.

I had faith in Donald, Stafford and Kupp. Huge thanks to Darrell Henderson's receiving skills and Brycen Hopkins 2 huge first downs. But Donald & the DL, Stafford and Kupp I always had faith in them coming through. Oh, and how bout that A'Shawn Robinson?

For me, a mixture of both. During our hot 7-1 start, and after adding Von Miller, I was sky high that we had everything to win it.

But that 3 game losing streak was really tough. I attended the Titans game, and they played like crap. The following week was worse, just gettting physically outmatched and blown out by the hated Niners. And after losing a third in a row to GB, it was easy to think that maybe it just wasn't our year.

But we had a great bounce-back game vs the Jags. And then once we got revenge on the Cards, and kept stringing quality wins along, it was easy to regain some cautious optimism.

Second Niners loss didn't faze me. Rams were the better team, and the Rams figured out how to counter them, Niners just made some big plays at crucial moments.

And yeah, after that playoff demolition of the Cards, we knew we were legit.

What a freaking ride.....!!!!

I knew we would win. After beating the 9ers I knew this team would finish the job in the Superbowl. I stayed mostly out of the GDT's but that's just do to the negativity of some posters. It's usually the same posters but its a small group.

So many things went wrong that I was wondering if this wasn't our night.

Mcvay, until the end was calling too many runs which was killing our offense. Injuries to OBJ and Blanton. Stafford throwing picks. Refs missing a critical offensive pass interference resulting in a free TD. I felt real confident that we would get the go ahead TD at the end because there was good protection in the pass game and Stafford tends to be real good in crunch time.

I felt the defense could stop Burrow from a TD but figured they would get a FG and force OT which I felt we would definitely win.

But alas, Aaron Fricken Donald. Back to back plays to seal the Lombardi.

Well, I said McVay is a winning coach, but he would never win a super bowl because he doesn't adapt his game plan.............

What is best to help eat crow?

I was a firm believer we were gonna win...until OBJ went down, and then I was VERY nervous.

After the long TD by Burrow and the subsequent pick by Stafford, I made myself a beverage and resigned myself to the fact that I was witnessing the 3rd soul crushing defeat in the Super Bowl in my life.

Alas.......the crow shall be consumed by me ALLLLLLLL week.

Injury to Higbee and OBJ made this game closer than it should have been. I know that with both of them playing this game would have been a blowout. They had no answer to Kupp when it was only him. With the other two, it would have been no contest. OBJ was on fire. I'm glad he got his TD in this game. To know he had a big part in this victory even with only 2 receptions.

McVay created a whole new game and he did adapt as OBJ and Blanton were lost to injury. Morris played his defense like he should have all season. But I give him props for stepping up in the playoffs. This was a huge coaching win. The Bengals struggled to adapt just like McVay did in 2018. There is a lot to be said about having Super Bowl experience. The Rams came out focused and ready to play. The Bengals came out believing the media myths. There was only one team of destiny out there and it was the Rams.

Stafford has forever put to rest all the shit about not being able to win in big games. He just won the 4 biggest games on the biggest stage imaginable. He brought the Rams back by coming from behind against the Bucs and now the Bengals to become a champion. in Detroit that said Detroits last QB just won the Super Bowl. It just proves that ownership and the FO are where it begins.

Thank you Stan and Les.

Ya know that drawer?.... the kitchen drawer with all the soy sauce and ketchup packets???

Well, the orange stuff... the "duck sauce"... use that. Every time I've had to eat crow, I just dip it in that stuff and it goes down smooooooth.

Had a big pile of crow after Morris really turned around the D and I dunno if I could've done it without all that Duck Sauce...

When that INT happened I just knew the D was not going to let them score a TD. When they forced them to settle for the FG thats when I felt confident that the Rams would win. That doesn't mean I wasn't apprehensive on at the beginning of the last drive. But I wasn't down on the Ram's chances either. I was just nervous about some potential quirky thing happening like Hekker flubbing the hold.

I had an extra ribeye grilled and I'm eating right now. Too wired to sleep!

I felt really dejected after Beckham went out. However, I asked for "Raheem the Dream" to dial something up and he did multiple times.
Not only OBJ, but Blanton too, which hurt the blocking scheme overall. Hopkins proved worth as a receiver & thank the Good Lord, Stafford & Kupp had one more drive in them. Hopkins with some big receptions too.

Overall I kept calm, in fact, the friends I was watching the game with, were amazed how calm I was, but that was the Single Malt. Overall, I just kept thinking they were better then the Bengals and thankfully the defense kept the Rams in the game to set up the epic drive to win the whole damn thing.

Absolutely the most stressful game I’ve ever watched. Kupp is a God. Defense played lights out. It was magic to watch. Love this team!

I may be trying to make “fetch” happen, but I’ve been calling this Rams team “the Cardiac Crew” for a reason…
