Marcus Dupree sounds right to me
Yeah, ESPN had a 30 for 30 on him, called "The Best That Never Was".

Sad story, left school early for the USFL. His local preacher was his agent and ended up stealing his money, then he got hurt. Tried a comeback in LA, but was a shell of his former self.

DX had knee injuries going back to his senior year of high school and knee injuries every year except his last college year. He was Randy Moss talented, but his knees let him down.

Tyson's injuries are concerning, but if we took him, I'd assume they'd know the risks and be willing to select him.
Yeah DX's knees just basically had other plans. The poor guy had all the talent but his knees were just terrible beyond belief. Honestly was sad to see but no one can ever say he didn't try.

I get people being concerned but acting like he's on DX's level of injury is crazy to me. I'm sure if Tyson slips down the draft, its because teams didn't like what they saw on his medicals but he's not slipping out of the 1st round imo.

He's no where near DA's injury history so much so that DA went undrafted yet here we are talking about Tyson going in the 1st round. Once again, it makes zero sense to mention the 2 in the same breath as both are entirely different in terms of how injuries impacted them. DA by the way had to have a knee surgery prior to the draft, this after having multiple knee surgeries prior. Tyson's last knee injury was around 4 years ago. Yeah I think its dumb to mention them being similar.
Once again, I only said that he reminded me of DA.
Nowhere did I say they were even nearly the same with regards to injury history, so get off that horse about this.
Regarding my comment about Tyson, I said I don't like the potential risk that comes with drafting him.
I still don't....... But then again, it may wind up being a nothing burger
Time to move on ......

Ok let me refrain that to make you feel better. Being reminded of DA when DA's injury history was way worst is just dumb to me. I get being concerned about his injury history so that part I totally understand but you are mentioning 2 people's who's injury history is on way opposite ends of the spectrum of being worried. Now back go to riding my horse!

Forgive me for saying but it's not dumb at all not that we're supposed to use that word about posts.

Denario Alexander in 4 years of college played 47 games out of 60 his team played
Jordyn Tyson in 4 years of college played 33 out of 51 games his team played

Just going off a time missed it's not even remotely close and that's not factoring any games either of them played a few snaps or a half and then left. That's pure number of games played. People every draft cycle want to make guys they like for whatever reason look better and it's gone wild this year especially. We see it with Tyson and other. Likewise people want to make players they don't like look worse some for legit reasons some absolutely not. But sorry by a games missed metric you're way off on the mark here.

He worries me. Been saying that from the start. But again in his favor he's played a lot of ball since his knee injury. And it's the knee in combo with the way he moves that worries me. Overall he seems to be fragile, but fragile vs explosive movement is a gamble many teams would take.

I just prefer not to risk it on the medical flag types. But 13 may come down to "take a possible stud or settle for a lesser graded fit." And in that equation if they take the shot on the stud I can't fault them. Even though it's not what I'd prefer.
