We can... at the risk of losing some of his agility and even more speed. And a lack of speed is the thing holding him back from being able to separate from NFL CBs. I don't see Konata developing into a starting caliber WR but I've been wrong before. The more I think about it, can we just put 10 lbs of muscle on Konata.
I don't think he's gonna draw any attention away from Nacua. Hopefully down the road... yes.Imagine the attention he would draw away from Nacua & Ferguson.
Just out of curiosity any guesses on the player the Texans might be targeting?I proposed this on another thread…as a potential option:
Trade down to get Omar Cooper and another R2 draft pick. My guess is Cooper goes end of R1.
Proposed trade/draft scenario:
Trade R1.13 to HOU for R1.28 & R2.38.
Omar Cooper WR IND @R1.28.
Chris Johnson CB SDST @R2.38.
Burst looks pretty decent for a 6'2", 207 lbs. WR to me.I like his size and long speed. He just doesn't seem to have any real burst or much YAC ability. I realize that's probably how we get him in Rd 3 and I'm probably being too picky for that placement in the draft, but I'd like to see more than a possession type receiver.
Not sure what we have in Mumfield so gotta figure that out this year. We know what we have in XSmith and Whitt. They are STeamers who can occasionally relieve starters. DAdams is a great red zone target and occasional chain mover. We are missing a true WR2 of the future. That should be a priority in FA this year.We can... at the risk of losing some of his agility and even more speed. Door # 1 please….Cooper.I am becoming more and more enamoured with the thought of a slight trade down from 13 and grabbing Omar Cooper Jr. Or moving up in the second and trying for Germie Bernard. The two of them are the 'Rams-iest' receivers in this draft.
The late 20s is a real gauntlet for him to get through, no doubt. SF also he wouldn't get by.Door # 1 please….Cooper.
He won’t make it past Buffalo at R1.26 but could go earlier.
I would think they would want one of the top OL, either an OT or the OG from Penn St. That could be our trade down partner.Just out of curiosity any guesses on the player the Texans might be targeting?
Cooper seems to be rocketing up the draft board. May not even make it to R1.20.I am becoming more and more enamoured with the thought of a slight trade down from 13 and grabbing Omar Cooper Jr. Or moving up in the second and trying for Germie Bernard. I've (only) read that his drop ratio could be better and his run blocking isn't the best, so I'm skeptical about him.Tell you what…on a human level, that just makes me appreciate him more - and he’s already a hell of a receiver. Easy speed and acceleration, good hands? Wouldn’t mind him one bit if we traded down from 13.

Any opinions on WR Skyler Bell? I saw a mock where the PFF guys mocked him to the Rams at 61. He does look like a RAC threat. Supposedly, a good route runner. He does look like a fit. A little like a poor man's Ike Bruce, just in terms of build and his skillset. Obviously not saying he is another Bruce, just that style of WR.

I'd take this dude if he's on the board late rounds:
