Outside of us Rams fans, I don't think our stable of running backs get the love they deserve.
Sure there are some elite backs out there like AP, Lynch and Shady McCoy but I think we have a great collection of young talent in our backfield.
Mason is no slouch, the dude is a stud. Doesn't run "violent" like Lynch or AP but he can make all the cuts, has speed and vision to be a premier back.
Add Gurley in the mix (assuming he comes back healthy from the ACL) and those are 2 potential premier backs on 1 team. This isn't even including Benny.
So to answer the question, any of our backs could have caught that and taken it to the house.
