Again this all projections. Here are all the schedule games for different QBs:

Arch Manning
Arch's schedule next year. The first game will be a huge challenge and set the tone for their season. Three home games he should crush. Can he win at FL and GA??

Drew Allar
Here is his schedule. He should be able to have great numbers for the first three weeks. Then plays at OSU later in the season. A lot of good chances to show off in their home games

Cade Klubnik

I like this guy a lot. If Arch is not there (meaning does not come out or just blows his chance), he would be good. Looking at the schedule, he will need to set the tone in week one. I would like to see him in week 5 against a Belichick Defense (Closest NFL D he will see). Looking at the rest of the schedule, he should ball out.

Garrett Nussmeier

Early last year looked really good, but tapered off. Again, needs to set the tone early. Can we crush the Tide and OU on the road?

Sam Leavitt

He is on the early list to be projected high next year. I cannot find a really hard team that he could struggle with. (Maybe at Iowa State or MS State (SEC school). Lets see how he does without Tet next year.

With all of this being said, Arch Manning and Klubnik are the ones I like. This all could change in November and December.

Sellers excites me the most (outside of Arch). If he can progress this season, watch out. The dude has some insane tools.

College football is going to hit different next year for us. Exciting time to be a Ram fan.

How about none - and we sign Stafford for 2 more years. Then use those 1st round picks in 2026 to get an elite WR and CB (or RT).

1. Arch Manning….He’s most like his grandfather and hopefully lands on a better team.
2. LaNorris Sellers. Carrying the Gamecocks on his back.

LaNorris Sellars is going to be something else.

Agreed with Sellers, I really like how he plays. Very fluid and fast decision making in both pass and pull it down and run situations. Other than Manning I want to watch carefully how he does this upcoming season because if he continues to grow I might be all aboard the Sellers train. It seems like McVay has had some fun when he's had QBs with some running skills. Let Mayfield loose a bit and had Wentz running a whole game a few years ago. Wondering if he's itching to get someone like that to play with fulltime.

Disagree. Whether Stafford stays another year or two, independent of that, 2026, armed with TWO 1st Round picks in an above-average (possibly Elite?) Quarterback Draft is OUR year to get our Franchise Quarterback Of The Future IMHO. Will NOT have another opportunity like this rest of the Decade, and keep in mind we came within a hair of losing Stafford already this past offseason.

Allar has all the tools but he needs to put it together. I think the Brownies are going in the tank so I don't think we will get a shot at Manning (if he comes out). Clubnik is who i would take today if you forced me.

Thinking about potential vets that could be available for a couple of 1s, the list is really small. Burrow, Jackson, Allen, Mahomes are obviously untouchable. Could you prise away Justin Herbert? That would be my dream scenario. I think McVay would do a good reclamation project on a Trevor Lawrence for example. Anyone else? Nah.

By February of next year half these QBs will be shit upon due to not playing up to expectation, or staying in school, or whatever else. It's gonna look a lot different. Probably still a strong class but not gonna get too excited just yet.

I’d draft a QB in the first next year too.

Just saying, it’s not guaranteed the Rams will actually do that though. There’s a non-zero chance that Stafford has a great/healthy year and they kick the can down the road one more year. Then use those prime FRPs to get two Franchise players at premium positions (ROT, WR, CB).

Like others on here, I love LaNorris Sellers. If Arch isn't available, I'd take Sellers in a heartbeat.

I thought about Herbert too, if he has another poor postseason game? Then again, if that happens might rather have Allar/Arch anyway.

You'd be banking on McVay getting a bit more out of him than Brandon Staley (defensive minded) and Jim Harbaugh (run first). I think it makes sense. But we'll see. He'd need to have a bad year to be considered expendable by the Chargers most likely and that might make you wary as you say.

As a fellow Clemson fan this wounds me deeply. I may even cry a bit at least inside.
I guess I am still bitter with the dive that Trevor Lawrence took in the college football playoff game.

Too early to make this call. There are a lot of very talented guys who will be draft eligible, but all will need to progress in some areas. Some will progress. Some won't. A few other guys to keep an eye on:
Fernando Mendoza (Indiana)
John Mateer (Oklahoma)
Avery Johnson (Kansas State)
Eli Holstein (Pitt)
Marcel Reed (TAMU)
Jayden Maiava (USC)
Taylen Green (Arkansas)

FWIW, I wasn't impressed by Nico when I watched him in 2024. He has elite physical tools, but his accuracy, reads, and processing were erratic.
Interesting background on Taylen Green. He came in a Redshirt Freshman along with Ashton Jeanty to Boise. He took over the QB job his freshman year and was dynamic with his legs, and some timely passing. Very entertaining player.

Sophomore year '23 We were checking our daughter into her new place, and ran into him at a local Boise burger place in August just before the season started. I spoke to him a little bit, he was very nice, and engaging, wished him the best for the upcoming season. I don't want to say he regressed, but while his running was very (I WON"T SAY KAPPERDINK) Randall Cunningham-like, his passing was a bit erratic. There were some drive-killing passes that sailed over receivers' heads, or into the waiting arms of defenders, and he was actually benched in favor of a 5'9" quarterback with a more accurate arm.

That and the fact that Jeanty was emerging as the dynamic run threat, and Green was mostly used weirdly, and situationally down the stretch. As it became clear he was being phased out, Green went into the portal and transferred to Arkansas.

The good news for Green was that he would be under the tuteledge of OC Bobby Petrino, and he does seem to have grown in the roll of a passer. We will see. Plus, he sees tougher competition in the SEC.

He could be a dark-horse riser. Not my favorite style quarterback. But if you look at some of his highlights, he can fly.

This thread has the makings of a 100+ pager

It should be a 150+ pager; we have a whole calendar year to use this thread, and talk about which quarterbacks rise during the college season. It especially should be so if the Falcons struggle, and we should want everyone to beat them, even if it's the Hags/69ers.

He’s as entitled as Shedeur Sanders is, judging from his actions leading to his leaving Tennessee for UCLA, and his dad is worse, a real helicopter parent.

I used to like him the most other than Arch, but that’s a firm no for me.
I am UT fan and I watched most of his snaps last season. He overthrew several wide open WR on what could have been game changing TD’s. I don’t think he has the mental fortitude or talent for the NFL level. JMHO.
