The other thing that a lot of people don’t understand is that the Manning Family cares very deeply about the culture of college football. They care just as much about college football as they do the NFL. They don’t view it thru the prism that a lot of modern players do, where it’s merely a launching pad to the NFL. They believe being a multi year starter at places like Texas, Tennessee, and Ole Miss builds character and gives you experiences that you would never get by holding a clipboard for 3 years.
And more importantly, the Mannings philosophy is to play right away. They dont believe in sitting behind someone else and learning for 1-2 years. Peyton is extremely vocal about this. They will not let Arch enter the draft unless he’s ready to walk in and start for an NFL team on Day One. I’m telling you right now, there is a better chance Arch is a 2028 QB than a 2026 QB.
