Name
Scott
Deshaun Watson.
He's never won anything with the Browns.

He probably never will, either.

I think Stafford was a real rarity. You don't see guys like him come available normally, it was a special set of circumstances where few in the media actually watched his games and realized he had developed some really nice skills to go with his bad habits. Watching a few plays on Thanksgiving between turkazine naps doesn't really get it done for me in terms of knowing what he can do so I was the same as them.

Now teams can jump all over QBs they think are "unappreciated" this time around but I don't think any have the potential to do what Stafford did outside of maybe Watson. Lot of these guys have eroded skills, like Ryan for example, the guy's arm doesn't look so hot and he didn't have a gun to begin with.

And Watson is going to the shit stains. So yeah this little two year trend of a QB winning it all in his new city is gonna end this year when Stafford raises number two. :trophy::trophy:

Your post reminds me of Scott Mitchell. Showed a little promise for the Dolphins covering for Marino. So the Lions signed him to a large contract. He had 1 decent year with the Lions. Think he played a few more years as a back up.

Gotta be careful with these guys who catch fire for brief stints of their career.

Great call.
Mitchell, Matt Cassell & Matt Flynn are the poster children of "flash in the pan earning huge contract"

I think that the Saskatchewan Roughriders are an Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady trade away from the Grey Cup.
