I have to conclude that Patriot fans are dumb as a box of bricks. They have little creativity and don't know how to be wicked funny!

McVay hasn't yanked Goff yet. He really has it in for BB. ~ PP2

Damn this is bad. ~ JetsFan

I haven’t missed a Pats game for many years but I won’t watch another game this year as long as Cam is the starter. He should have been pulled after the pick 6. ~Patsgo4four

Yet they win this game without abysmal QB play so maybe 1-4 aren’t really correct and it’s all the qb. ~ Ring 6

The Rams stopped trying to score once they went up 24-3 in the third. McVay had mercy on us. They could have easily put up 35+. ~ amfootball

Yeah, what are their options? Trade for Wentz or Winston lol? Andy Dalton?

Wentz would be a great option for them. Their options seem to be Gardner Minshew, Jimmy G, Dalton, Winston, Jacoby Brissett, Mitch Trubisky, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Joe Flacco, trade for a random backup, or draft a QB (Lance, Trask, M. Jones, etc.).

Never thought of Jimmy G. SF would seem interested in talking. Not sure I like the idea of bailing out SF.

If I was BB I would take on Fitzpatrick tbh. His skills set work well with what BB and McDaniels will ask of him.

That said I pray there is no Fitzmagic going on in New England.
Fuck them.

I like the fact that they are bad enough to miss the playoffs but not so terrible they get the No. 1 overall pick. The misery of a 7-9 season we used to know so well.
Any chance he trades up for Lawrence? Lol

Apparently, Wentz is a no go due to his dead cap hit which is massive.

Jimmy G is actually an option as his dead cap hit if he's traded after this season is only $2.8M according to Spotrac.com.

I dunno what he's gonna do, but there's no great answers out there as SF would want first borns, a plethora of #1s and whatever else they could think of to send Jimmy G back to beantown.

No doubt the fan base would want Jimmy G but the trade capital would be pretty high. Plus Jimmu G is good for 7-8 games per season on IR...

SF is nuts if they ask for a lot for Jimmy. If they don't cut him this off-season, he's gone after 2021. I bet they look hard for another QB this off-season. If I'm the Patriots, I'd take my chances with a FA like Jameis or Jacoby Brissett (who used to be a Patriot) over trading a Day 2 pick for Jimmy (much less a first round pick). In fact, if I'm New England, I'm looking to draft a QB this off-season. If they want one in the first round, they'll have a shot at a super talented athlete in Trey Lance. They could also go after Kyle Trask (by trading down to the late first or hoping he falls to the second). Trask actually might be a nice fit for that system. But they'd need to give him better WR options.

Belichick has no tolerance for mistakes. I’m amazed they signed Cam. Fitzpatrick does not strike me as a Pats QB. Winston definitely not a BB kind of guy. I bet they’ve seen enough of Jimmy G to not offer more than a third round pick for him.

I love how the media is like...."who will the QB be for the Pats?!?" As if other NFL teams are just going to gift them a QB - how about the answer to that is some bum that will have them in the dumpster for years? Sounds good to me.
