Well, I’ve slept on it and I still don’t quite know where to start...

The funny and eerie thing about that Green Bay comment, is that they are coached by a “ramlike” coach in Lefluer...

So McVay has been so figured out, even his former coaches are losing?

I'll tell you guys what, nobody lost their mind like this over a bad loss until McVay changed our expectations. Now people act like losing a game is like losing their job, their dog and their truck all in the course of one country song.

It all started when Auburn lost to South Carolina... crazy week in football.

Yeah, that shocked me, the fact that Muschamp is still their Head Coach is simply amazing. Big win for the Gamecocks and all that game did was take some heat off of Muschamp and put it on Arthur Gustavo Malzahn III .

I don't understand.... the whole Aaron Donald stuff... he was neutralized because of the JG throws in under 2 seconds.
He ran a 1.59 10 yard split. That's a pure sprint with no one trying to block you. JG threw the ball in 2 seconds or less.
No matter how good AD is, no way does he get there in time.

This is on Staley. No adjustment. Play press coverage and JG can't throw the ball so quickly. AD gets a pressure or a sack.

I know the star players were awful but to me this loss falls on the coaches. They did not have a good game plan and they did not have the team ready to play. It is like I have always said, what do you do when someone punches you in the mouth, do you get up and fight or just lay there and die.

Nobody wants to hear that but yes, that had to effect our team, who pulled if together to crush the WFT after a close game with the giants but by 5:20pm they were burnt out.

@Ramstien I know you're not so sure that the travel affected them, and that's cool, perhaps it didn't...
but I know with lots of experience what it does to myself, my crew and the professional dancers and performers I work with.
Having your cycles fucked with so much, with all of the jet lag to boot, takes its toll. It really does. Its not so much an energy drain after a single long flight, its the accumulated effect. There is a reason either Demarco Farr or MJD were talking about it before the game.

Bad analogy. Defense got punched in the mouth, then they came out with a flurry of haymakers and knocked the Niners offense out COLD.

Offensively, we were a dropped TD away from this being a tied game. Can't put that on the coaches. And even IF Kupp catches that TD, it was still a bad game for both him and Jared - so now we're saying a tied game, on the road to a division rival, 4th road game in 5 weeks, with the QB playing like trash, Kupp playing bad, AD having his worst game? That sounds like a good coaching job actually

Yeah, its hard to argue with that. The Rams schedule has been absolutely brutal, travel wise. They actually looked tired and lethargic to me Sunday night. I mentioned to my son that I felt like the Whiners spiked their Gatorade, lol.....

Time for Goff to have a great game against a good D. Todd ain’t here anymore, there are no more training wheels to fall back on.

Gotta remember that the 49ers offense only went cold AFTER Mostert got hurt. It shouldnt have taken a Journeyman RB's injury for the Defense to have gotten in control.

Sounds like a lot of excuse making to me. These guys are professional athletes that are getting paid very well, I think they would be the first to admit that they need to be able to handle these circumstances. If you think that was a good game plan and a good coaching job, you don't know very much about the game. These coaches would be the first to tell you they have got to do better. When someone is having a bad game change things up and go to something else. don't keep trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

There's plenty of reason for optimism even in that loss. I think people are struggling because it was the Niners.

That's what it boils down to...we fans all hate the whiners and no loss is worse.

The re-evaluation of Goff and all this other bullcrap is just emotional whining, IMO.

It just wasn't any fun

Career-worst? LOL

:ROFLMAO:
What’s your point?

Yeah, Goff played worse during his miserable rookie year under Fisher. But since he’s been with McVay, Goff hasn’t had too many games where he had all day in the pocket yet missed a ton of wide-open throws.

As for Kupp, it’s pretty rare that he’ll drop two huge passes in one game.

I’m sure Goff and Kupp are pissed at themselves and will bounce back.
