Was Todd Gurley that much of a problem?

Still glad the Cooks -Gurley drama boys have left the building even at the great cost to Salary Dead Cap Hit.

Drama Free is a good day!

there is no real price though of lossing then. Cam Akers was a solid draft pick who actually will reduce the cost. Then add Jefferson straight up for Cooks & you have a more solid WR at moving the chains.

I'll respect TG30 for his time here. It was a hell of a run, and he's one of the most talented backs to don the Rams uniform. It's a shame that injuries held him back. I hope he does well for the Falcons, unless, of course, he's playing us.

I dunno wtf is going on here, but going after fellow posters isn’t allowed, so maybe cut that shit out and focus on the post and not the poster?

We’re lucky to have football and y’all turning this into fucking Facebook.

Cut it out or take it to DMs, please.

LOL @ this.

Your confusion is CLEAR.

There was definitely something physical going on with Gurley. 2018 and 2019, He just wasn't making the same cuts, or finishing runs the same way. Also, when was the last time we saw the Gurley Hurdle? Anyone remember? I bet it was during the 2017 season.

I've posted about this before, but on top of the whole knee issue, after the SB Todd just simply started moving on from football. Check his social media pages. He's all about them endorsements now. Alt Sports leagues, interviews, podcasts, etc.
Then compare with AD99's, or even Obo's. Those guys post football, football & more football.............

I fully expect TG to join Brett Favre and Jerry Rice in those CopperFit flag football ads in the near future. ;)

There wasn't any back that played for the Rams that was better than Faulk. Jmho

I kinda agree...but defenses had Bruce, Holt, Warner, etc... to keep an eye on as well.

Eric Dickerson on the other hand....the only other offensive threat back then was Henry Ellard. (Maybe an honorable mention to Ron Brown).
Everyone in the stadium knew ED was getting the ball, and he was still able to put up numbers.

Different era to be sure, though.

Gurley became Surly when the Rams brought CJ on board. I loved Gurley but McVay demands the ‘We not Me’ attitude from his players. When you turn into a ‘Me’ player you no longer fit into McVay’s plan for the Rams.
