i'll be on my way, to my yearly quest, to put the six month bets down...

$100 on rams to win the SB

$100 on the over for the season win total... not even sure what that is now, it was 9.5

$100 on the rams to win the west...

and finally, and probably my best odds ... stafford for mvp!!!

it's a yearly thing, so a $400, six month long bet... about $16 per week give or take...

adds a little extra to the season, been doin it, off and on since 1999....

I do the same thing every year. This year besides to win the SB, I have them winning over 11 games (better odds), winning the NFC and of course the NFC West.

I do like you, $100 each bet. I get them in as early as possible when the odds are better and the bookies haven't had a good look at the team.

And just like you, don't miss the money since it's already spent and it keeps me involved. Like I need a motivator.

Stafford MVP bet is like throwing money away.
Even if he is the head and shoulders above anyone else performer, he won't get it.
They will give it to Princess Allen or Mahoney instead.

got back a few minuts ago...

on my way to LV, i was thinking along the lines of HWH on the throwing money away with MVP...

and while thinking that, i was making the ironman run at vegas (6+hours driving one way) i decided that i wouldn't make the bets that were most likely to win (win totals, west div champs, making the playoffs) because for the $100 bet on each, the payout was around a couple hundred for each....going all the way to las vegas for a few hundred just didnt seem worth it to me so...

so instead of my normal minimum $400 (SB, nfl MVP,west chmp, over/under) i opted for the $200 on win it all, wiith a payout of 18 to 1...

$3600 is gonna make it a fun trip to vegas in march...

Right? Remember last season when Stafford took apart the Bills? Princess Allen drew a flag for a hit inbounds. Stafford had a similar hit and no flag.

Being from Hawaii, I was surprised that princess was so highly touted. He looked horrible playing against the U. Of Hawaii when he was at Wyoming. To his credit, he's a pretty good QB in the NFL, but that princess crap bugs me.

By contrast, Hawaii's only 12-0 season in team history ended with them getting destroyed in the Sugar Bowl by Stafford and the Georgia Bulldogs after the 2007 season.

As an unrelated side note, Hawaii does own a victory over Alabama from the early 2000's. :)

Here is my sneaky good pick. Odds of Jared Verse winning DPOY are anywhere from +1200 to +1500. $100 bucks on him to win it feel like good odds. I got +1400 on Fandual a few weeks ago. Big jump coming for Verse this year in terms of sacks. Book it :)
