I was at the game and it was louder when the Rams made noise than the Whiners. Their red jerseys really stand out while blue and white blend into the crowd. My best guess it was 60-40 Rams.

Back when the Rams were in LA they often has big opposing team presences there. Like some have said, many transplants. For decades now people relocated from around the country to So-Cal. And as I would, take the love for their team with them.

It is MUCH easier to travel by an airline line. And much less expensive. So-Cal is a great place to watch you favorite team, in the finest stadium ever built while taking in so many sites available that it may be difficult to do all in a lifetime. For those that are trying to compare to the Dome in St Louis the only reason I ever went was because of the Rams. If I was a fan of another team no way would I make the trip there to watch a game in that pathetic stadium. But Sofi.....like the nice Whiner fans in front of us said, they are transplants to Houston who came out to the game because of the stadium AND So-Cal. Won't be finding me going to a Texan game in my lifetime.

Football left Los Angeles in 1994. Raiders went up to Oakland and the LA fan base easily could get there cheaply on Southwest. Southwest added extra sections on Sundays just for that crowd. Still a presence in the great LA area for them

A young generation wanted a team so many stayed loyal to California and chose the Whiners because they were winning championships at the time. Those fans were not there before the Rams left. Rams fans didn't become whiner fans. The fan base grew for the love of football. One thing about that shit fan base, if their team sucked, they would not be showing up. A seven game winning streak against the Rams sure doesn't help. We turn that around, they will stop coming. No loyalty amongst them at all.

As for the Cowboys, they are Americas team. Transplants from all over the country align with that team.

The team that I saw travel best are the Saints. It was impressive how many of them flew in from NOLA.

It will take a generation for the locals to get on the Rams Bandwagon. For most, all of this it is a childhood passion. And could not afford a game until I was like 25 years old and I live close to the stadium.

It is what it is. It is not fun to lose but it is a great atmosphere in a spectacular stadium. My biggest concern is crowd behavior. So many instigators from both teams are always there. And it can be fucking annoying. It is what the sport attracts now. Money certainly does not buy class.

Rams win, the fan base will grow in time. Need to put a competitive product on the field consistently. And the good news is players want to play for the LA Rams. Coaches want to coach for the LA Rams. This would have never been possible if the team was still in St Louis.
Thank you. All these people watching on TV trusting what they see on cam. Smh. It's not like the crowd had any impact on the pathetic display anyway so it's just misplaced anger

This could be their last hurrah. Look at all the core players ages. Most will be 30 or older next season. Ramsey will be 29. When a pro football player hits his 30's injuries start to happen more often.

Off the top of my head the ones I know will be 30 or older are Donald, Wagner, Floyd, Stafford, Kupp, Allen Robinson, Higbee, Havenstein. Gaines and A'Shawn Robinson will be free agents. As will Henderson and Gay. Akers is as good as gone one way or the other.

Maybe its best to stop giving away picks. We might be going through a couple lean years. We're gonna need some of those for down the road. There aren't any franchise saving guys out there anyway.

That might be gloom and doom talk. But I feel like its our reality coming soon. Could be this year. Was giving up all those future resources worth it to win a championship? I say hell yes! If we have to go a few lean years so be it. Maybe they can give Stafford one last run at it when he hits his late 30's.

Ticket sales analysis and my eyeballs say this isn’t accurate.

Apologies.
No need to apologize.

I have no idea where your eyes look and ticket sales are mostly all season ticket holders so I do not know where you get such crap analysis.

Believe what you want to believe. Again, no need to apologize.

I am one of few weirdos that hung around when the Rams left.

I had season tickets in Anaheim and was beyond pissed when Front-and-Reary bolted for STL. I ran a company weekly football pool and used to get crap all the time because I had the Rams listed as "Los Angeles Rams" the entire time they played in MO. I kept telling everyone "They're just playing in STL for awhile, they'll be back". And when they did return, I immediately bought season tickets for the Coliseum so I could get seats at what became SoFi.

Of course, the fates have a sense of humor in that right before SoFi opened, I got transferred to Seattle and have to follow them remotely (again) even though I have Season Tickets! I am an anomaly and should be the subject of some future cautionary tale folks tell their kids.

When they first left LA, I of course watched every game, and even joined the STL POST DISPATCH board and politely listened to that moron Bernie Miklasz badmouth LA constantly and continue to predict the Rams would never go back (even after Kroenke bought the property!) because the fan base sucked. I got booted from that board after setting him straight via email.

Even though he was (is!) a blowhard of biblical proportions, he had an element of truth in his claim. If you define "REAL FAN" as "somebody who bends over and takes it while owners constantly dash for the cash and leave fans high and dry". Normal, healthy people aren't like that. They moved on.

With that in mind, if we fast forward a decade or two and have the kind of relevance and success we've seen since McVay, all will be forgotten and it will be like Dodger Stadium in SoFi.

Five straight winning seasons. Four Post-seasons. Two Super Bowls. Exciting and fun team, with star players.

Yet the Rams' may have the weakest home-field-advantage of any team in the NFL.

There are some mitigating factors but there's no good excuse.

Of course there are good fans in Los Angeles. Just not enough of them. It's an embarrassment.

Vent thread because the team pissed down their leg again versus the hated whiners and people complaining about the fan turn out. Lmao.

Didn't the teams play WITHOUT ANY fans in the stadium one year recently? Did we dominate those games too? Or did we shit the bed again? Help me remember.

The crowd and fans should be low on the list of complaints for today...if on the list at all

Clearly you can see that there are some salty NON-LA residents in here.
I still remained a loyal fan when they left to STL. Never once complained about the fans not helping the team get over the hump all of those miserable years

Before the Rams' stepped on the field, the Rams fans' 'pissed' on the Team by not showing-up ... Again.

Horrible support from the fans should be Low on the List but it should definitely be ON the List.

Was watching a local sports report from NYC this morning. When discussing yesterday's game, the first comments were all about the Niners' second half dominance. The words 'kicking the Rams ass' were used. The second comment was about the crowd being reflective of a home game for the 49ers, and how embarrassing that was for the Rams.

Again, there are some GREAT Rams' fans in L.A. ... Just not enough.

Some teams just have your number...and we need to say that when it comes to the Niners. Teams that play the Rams are definitely gonna look at what the Niners do defensively.

The season is halfway now and the Rams have got to get it going. Tampa is also having issues like the Rams. It's obvoius that Jefferson was not fully 100% or he would have seen more snaps. I didn't see him out there in a single formation. Perhaps next week he'll be on the field.

The Rams played 1 half of football yeaterday...bottom line.

I can get the frustration with the lack of fan support on one hand.

But if the team is going to do the same thing against the 49ers EVERY FUCKING TIME - and lose - can you blame them for sitting this one out? Why go to a game just to watch the home team try the same thing that didn't work the last 7 times only to lose another one?

Maybe the LA fans selling their tickets to the shitter fans have it right. Maybe not watching the Rams play these fucks is the answer. I'm being facetious here of course but still maybe we're the fools for expecting something different when we know damn well we're gonna get pushed around by them every single game.

Honestly I'm more sad than angry about this year's team. We all knew defending the title was tough statistically, so this is kind of a year off in that way. But I do want to see a competitive team. And I think that's important for the stars. I mean if you're Stafford right now you have to be thinking "do I want to sit behind this line for another season and a half or should I retire."

So for this trade deadline be frugal and try to add a piece or two that helps you without ruining your ability to reload in the offseason. Because even if this OL starts playing better we're probably too flawed a team to defend this title.

Not sure Id take a NYC sports report to heart. LA is a totally different market than say a NYC....thats just the way it is.....

My point was simply that to a non-L.A. fan, the lack of fan-support the Rams' get at home games is alarming.

Most cities support their team, when their team is good. The Rams stunk when they returned to Los Angeles, and stunk in 2016. Since then, they have put an exciting and winning product on the field, and the L.A. fans have failed them.

As a life-long Rams' fan on the east coast, I am embarrassed that they have to use a silent count at home.

It’s data from Vivid Seats…

Don’t confuse season ticket holders with Rams fans.

Plenty of brokers & speculators bought them.
