This oline is abysmal ... they need to scour the FA list and get anyone who can hold a block for more than 3 seconds

sorry guys Gurley is done .. it’s asinine to think mcvay would hold him out after a couple of big runs or that he is being saved for the stretch the reason he gets pulledis because either mentally or physically he isn’t the same player he was last year or the years before I’m willing to put some of the blame on the oline even most of it but he is explosive or running tough anymore he is done

Well,

That is what I was guessing at before this weekend. My Ram gut told me they would suck a dong and they did. If you have two weeks to plan your offense for a 4-4 team and you lose.......that means your team sucks!

Watching the offense crumble and fall over themselves.....a defense that is a tad above average, but NOT a great defense has delivered what all of us are used......a Rams team that sucks!

Nothing to argue about, all points you made are valid. And it's sad to say but our season may be done already. We weren't playing anywhere near good but the refs completely ruined this game. I hope the Steelers feel good about themselves because they aren't going anywhere either.

There will be no playoffs this year. Had to win this game after losing 2 home games. From SB to no playoffs.

Steelers suck. That should not have happened.

Another opportunity to have the offense ready and dialed in missed by McVay imo

Defense played great thought Roby got abused alittle bit.

Defense was really strong today all over the field. I know Pittsburgh does not have a great QB but the Rams Defense held us in the game.

Bad penalties, wrong calls (fumble that was not called, Goffs hand was going forward, PI in the endzone) etc.

Again bad online play.
 
If McVay has any courage, he needs to spend 5 to 10 minutes laying into this officiating crew. This wasn't just a bad reffed game. It was a bad reffed game that intentionally favored one side. Both of the Steelers' TDs were blown calls. They called a number of ticky tack DPIs and then ignored the blatant DPI on 4th down in the endzone. Their defender fumbled the interception on the fake punt, and we recovered. They stole our interception of Rudolph with one of the worst DPIs I've ever seen.

This was a screwjob. And the NFL League Office did nothing to stop it. For as much as I love NFL football, games like this make me consider never watching again.

Agreed. With the cap, you can't pay premiums at every skill position. The Rams competitive advantage was having the QB on a rookie deal. If you pay him max money and he's not a max player, you're screwed.

Goff, Gurley, Ramsey, Donald are the Rams that are going to get paid big money. I'd say only Ramsey/Donald are worth it because they are elite players at valuable positions. Goff isn't elite therefore does not deserve the money. Gurley doesn't play a valuable enough position in today's NFL to give him the money he got.

Snead and Demoff killed the potential dynasty with some very bad cap mgmt.

Lmao you choose this game to continue to with that nonsense the problem isn’t Gurley it’s the offensive line and McVay
