I thought I'd be able to stay away, but here I am. And for the record, I'm a long time Cal fan (Cal alum '04/'07, so I know pain and frustration and I'm a slight apologist for Goff). With that said:

* OL is trash
* Goff's windup - did it get even longer? I swear it wasn't this long in college.
* Goff's decision making -- and while I realize and appreciate that his OL is trash -- is also trash. Seeing ghosts, internal count is is off, I don't know.
* Drops
* McVay not adjusting.

Bye playoffs. On a brighter note, we'll get a refund for season-holder parking because we're not getting to the play-offs and we had to pay in advance for parking.

Oh, and my Cal Bears won this weekend. So, yay?

Damn it, Rams.

Edit: Adding - also, what happened to Gurley? It looks like he was getting things going. Keyshawn (on his morning show here in LA) that he noticed something was off with Gurley and McVay during the Atlanta game. I'm wondering if that's the case.

Woods has played up to his contract, Gurley and Cooks have not. We desperately need an O line and that isn't happening any time soon.

Its like I’ve been watching the superbowl on repeat this season...

Gurley had 12 attempts for 73 yards. A 6.1 yard average at the time of our FG. He led us to our only offensive (I mean Spacial Teams) points of the day! Guess what his final stat line was?

Thats right, 12 for 73!

We score that FG with 14 seconds left in the 3rd quarter. What the hell is that. If your saving him for the playoffs, you gotta use him in games that may leave you on the outside looking in too! If he’s finished, then he’s finished, quit leading us on! If there’s something else, get the hell over it and put TG in the game!

The solution was right in front of McVays face! Goff needs some pressure off of him, run the ball (play action after!). Defense needs some rest, run the ball! Offense needs to move the rock, RUN THE BALL!!!!

What bothers me so much is that McVay doesn't seem to adjust based on his OL's ineptitude. He still tries the same plays over and over. It's not working. When's the last time we threw a slant? We barely ran the ball. The game was in reach the entire time, and yet it seems like McVay gets so frustrated and wants Goff to throw it and get big plays.

Here's how I see it we are not going to the playoffs. The OL is not good at all and will just continue to be exploited as our weakness. We're lacking discipline with way too many penalties especially at crucial moments. IF by some miracle Mcvay and Kromer get this OL playing adequately we could be damn good. If not then I will be surprised if we win more than 2-3 more games.

Sean McVay offense is remarkably a twin of Martz in how he cannot adjust his play calling to the team he has instead of the team his offense needs.

This is the first time I have thought about the Rams moving on from Goff and McVay. I hate this style of play.

Fat lady sang loud today. See ya next year Rams!

Say what you want about the refs but the offense was absolutely dominated and that’s why we lost. OL is beyond worthless.

If we are all honest, this team has too many holes to be a playoff team. It fucking blows. Let’s see if McVay/Snead can fix this sinking ship for next season.

Agree. My buddy was at the game and he's a Steelers fan and he said the refs screwed the Rams.

That said. This OL is arguably worse than it was before McVay came on board.

Whitworth is gonna retire. Havenstein is a liability in pass pro. And the interior is the worst its been in memory. At least we used to have Saffold. We got garbage inside now.

So how do they fix this garbage in the off season cause this year is over.

I have to agree mcvay dosnt look that great of a coach.Bad playcalling every week and not running the ball more.I thought he would be our coach for many many years but I'm kind of hoping we go looking elsewhere.

sorry guys Gurley is done .. it’s asinine to think mcvay would hold him out after a couple of big runs or that he is being saved for the stretch the reason he gets pulledis because either mentally or physically he isn’t the same player he was last year or the years before I’m willing to put some of the blame on the oline even most of it but he is explosive or running tough anymore he is done

What game were you watching? Seriously?

Gurley looked the best he had all year. Had 72 yards on 12 carries thru 3 quarters and then doesn’t touch the ball once on the final 4 drives. Gurley was completely fine and McVay crapped the bed, **again**.
