I wish one of our players was dating Taylor Swift so we could get fans in LA willing to pay to go to them.
I am embarrassed about this, one thing with the 49er fans being so close, but it's getting utterly ridiculous. I understand the Rams moved and this is a result, but it still doesn't make it anymore less plateable. Seeing those ugly Pittsburgh fans and I do mean ugly. Egad!

Redzone Defense was probably the number 1 reason we lost this game. Steelers have been brutal in the Redzone previously, but were 3 or 3 in this game. Force them to kick one or two field goals and we probably win.

Or a Jags game or a Panthers game or a Falcons game....notice where fans want to go, warm weather locales, no one is going to Orchard Park or Foxboro or Detroit.....
Yep! it's just a thing people like to vent about. I like not being a national team and more of a team with longer term loyal fans. I already have the other as a lifelong Angelino with the Lakers and Dodgers. Their is nothing unique about bein a fan of either of those team and their constant addition of new fans

The decision to let Gay go was the right one. The hindsight on this is crazy. He got signed to a monster deal that at the time was way over what the Rams could spend. Same stuff as when they let Z go. A little pain at first until they found the right guy. Maher isnt the right guy but the bigger problem is he shouldnt need to be hitting 50+ yard FG's.
Wasted time outs, false start penalties, complete disregard for TE, no jet sweeps etc etc
The o-line is mediocre at best and Stafford makes them look better than they are, but he is locked in to just 2 guys. As great as they are, it aint enough
McVay is the reason we have a SB trophy, and why we win when we win. But he is also the reason why we lose. Very frustrating

Maher and Kendrick MUST GO!

Maher lost seven points and Kendrick is not a football player. Both of them need to be out of the NFL ASAP!

We can start with those two. But we are not gonna find any improvements at this point. The Rams defense is littered with JAGS everywhere. We got one great player in Donald. One decent player in Jones. Two rookies who are still learning. And day 3 JAGS. Its amazing we haven't given up over 30 points every game with that. Give Morris credit.

Has to be a tie between Pittsburgh & Chicago. George Halas actually requested from Ed & Steve Sabol (NFL Films) to stop showing people from Chicago in the stands at Bear games. This is a true story, the Sabol's had to edit Bear footage with New York Giant fans when they showed footage of Bear games.

You could do that back then because people were not dressed in team Paraphernalia .

Not exactly, there is not a demand. Trust me if they could get $250-$350 a ticket they would be selling. If there is no demand prices will fall and people keep their tickets. Basic economics....

Well it seems the press is actually calling out the refs and the horrible spot. The NFLs current response "Go watch tennis princess." Seems abit shallow.
I keep saying it...HCs need to start calling the bullshit what it is, fines be damned. Embarass the league into actually doing something about the clownshow they call officiating.

But why was it a major brain fart? If Stafford didn’t throw a bad pass or it was an incompletion those that are calling it a dumb ass play wouldn’t even remember the play even happened. The empty set had nothing to do with the decision that Stafford made to throw that ball.
MY 1st thought when they broke the huddle was, why are we in empty set. Why bother running to set up the pass.
Last week after running 9 times in a row, he calls a empty set. That worked. Dosent mean its a smart play call.

No but it was the offense that managed to only score 8 points in the entire second half... Again.
Yeah, I get that. But at what point does it actually become a 'D' thing...stop people and get the ball back FFS. It's their one job.

Pointing out the O's deficiencies does nothing to justify how the defense got absolutely rolled in the 4Q.

If I was a NY Giant fan and saw myself on Chicago Bear highlights, I would have been pissed.

I knew this would be a strange game when Kupp dropped his first 2 passes. There was just to many uncharacteristic things happening in the game.

This team is starting to show cracks, which happens to flawed rosters around this time of year. Week six+ is that range where good teams get serious and start to assert themselves.

Offensively we struggle every time we face a good pass rush front.

Defensively we are tooled to support a narrow range of conditions that mean the offense has to produce.

As a team we have zero room for error. So the offense dropping passes and one pass where the QB doesn't see a defender, missed field goals, and poor run fits, or two of our corners having their heads up their asses is a loss.

But we knew this. We just can't help but hope this team is more.

I said the same thing: Why come out in empty set? They know you're going to pass, which is half the battle??

I also wonder why don't we have a counter? Jet sweeps, quick WR screens, whatever. SOMETHING for them to pause for split second at least before they drop back and take away your passing game since they know you ain't running...

Yesterday was one of the more frustrating Rams game I've seen in years. At least the rest of the season will be easier on my stress levels. I'm not expecting ANYTHING anymore. 5-12 wouldn't shock me.
