If only Alaric Jackson had been able to play instead of Humphries, we would have won (even with all of the other mistakes). Stafford would have had 350 passing or so, and we would be praising his heroic game while still leading the MVP race (sigh).
On that second drive where we failed on 4th down instead of kicking a FG, my philosophy there is take the 3 pts for the psychological boost. The next gen stats on going for it don't take that into account. Put the early points in the bank and let them earn interest.
Mumpfield needs to find the 1st down marker to sit at - twice he caught the ball short of the stick.
Too bad for Tutu - only 13 snaps, gets a shot at game end and the PI call is missed.
Loved the name of that Atlanta DT - Ruke Orhorhoro. I told my kid, this is what would be printed on the back of Scooby-Doo's jersey if he played football.

We got fucked again. The PI on Tu Tu was so obvious the announcers said it was PI. Puka is a BEAST. The hold was a hold........... I guess.
Puka on the sideline, the ball did move a tad so I get it. But if Stafford and Puka can just "decide" to throw it deep like that anytime they decide too.................................... do that shit in all 4 quarters !!!!!! Its like if Puka decides that ball is his, he just takes it. He is so fucking good and most don't realize it. Best WR in the NFL good.
Now that overthrow from Stafford, its hard to imagine how sweet that would have been if he caught him in stride for the easy TD with a few seconds left. It would have went Legend. All time comeback. Bang, in your face, we won you lost.

You have to pick your battles. Pissing into the wind always comes back at you. That is ok unless it affects others too.
Well, at 59 I don't consider myself old, however, the last couple of weeks has aged me quite a bit.
It wasn't the refs on the field. They blew the whistle and were moving on. And yes the league affects games to keep them close. In this case they killed 2 birds with one stone. They get a tie score and maybe over time and screw a team who's player called them out.
It isn't that hard to fix the ref issues. The league finds this situation convenient.
You can't recover a fumble in the endzone that was fumbled on the 1 unless you fumbled it. That is also what they consider advancement. Otherwise you could have the holy roller all over again. Actually, anyone can recover it in the endzone, it would just be put back to where it was fumbled unless the person who fumbled it recovered it in the endzone.

I'm willing to bet Puka regrets it too. You live and you learn.
The problem was the Whistle Blew before the recovery. Because of this, it should have been a replay of the 2 point conversion.
They still could have gotten it , but at least would have been within the rules. Giving them 2 points the way they did was against the rules.

But the NFL does have a problem with how games are refereed. Holding calls and interference calls are wildly disparate.
Also - Need either more booth review or remove it entirely. Selectively using it is a bad look.
