If the offense is good for even 25 minutes we probably blow them out lol. There were no sustained drive providing rest yet it tool last 16 seconds to give up a TD.
Well, the defense doesn't need to give up multiple 10 play fg drives as well. That also tires them out.

The Bucs had 323 total yards of offense.
If the Rams had one fourth quarter drive, they win the game.

And the defense made the plays to stop them with 2 minutes to play.

If you disagree, then you're saying the offense did enough to win this game.
They stopped them because Miller dropped an easy TD pass.

Those last two drives looked like one of those situations where two teams agree to let the autistic kid score a TD....In this case I guess it was let's let the old guy go out in some glory.

There are some obvious issues with the coaching staff evaluations IMHO. I'm going to refrain from Bobby Evans all of us have had enough and @oldnotdead posting having Ty Nsekhe play LT with Jackson playing LG seems like a much better option as Evans needs to be taken off the field.

Derion Kendrick is proving why he was overlooked in the draft, he just can't man up because he's slow. Even in zone, he's way off the WR giving up too much space and his penalty was costly too. Where in the hell is Durant? Is he still injured? And again let's go with Shaun Jolly instead because I know he can press much better then Kendrick.

Playing not to lose, that's what we did yesterday, the coaching staff is scared, you can see it in McVay's eyes. The Offensive Line has been neglected for too long and with all the injuries everything else has suffered. I look for some major changes next season and God help us all getting through this year.

I saw Durant on a punt coverage so he was up.

And the other horrible thing about the last drive is they didn't force the plays to the inside and instead allowed them to keep getting out of bounds to stop the clock. If just one of those plays stays in bounds they win.

The OL being neglected is a bit of a reach. They lost 6 OL this yr and only one came back thus far in Allen. Their first pick was an OL in this past draft.

I think its more scheme when they are relatively healthy. Other teams always seem to run the ball even when banged up. We can't when healthy.

Yea your right shame on them. They should have pitched a shutout.
They probably would have let this guy score on that last drive.

Need to finish just like the offense needed to finish. They both screwed up.

If you're an army bomb tech and you disarm 9 bombs with ease, but the tenth one blows you up... You still had a bad day.

Go win the game. Yeah the offense screwed you, but no excuse to give up a TD drive in 36 secs....to an offense that has also been horrible this year.

Oh, and you are allowed to get off the field and not give up 9 and 10 play drives during the game.

Yeah unfortunately we have progressed to extreme echo chambers where one side blames the offense only, while the other blames the defense only. Both are wrong.

The defense put out a textbook example of how NOT to two-minute defend. The offense played like a steaming pile of excrement.

Both should be criticized in a vent thread. So why are we defending one side or the other. That is some stupid fucking shit.
I haven't defended either side - both were shit in the 4th quarter.

The problem is that the offense sucked in the first 3 quarters except for a couple plays.

But my main question is and will be - why did Morris change his defensive strategy in the 4th qtr and go 100% soft zone.

It was working in the first 3 quarters. Why stop?

I think we could have pulled this one out had we worn the bone unis. Most has already been said. I will add I have always believed who ever invented the prevent defense should be taken out and shot then be given a stern talking to. Well maybe not shot but surely poked with a sharp stick. Giving a modern NFL QB 6 or 7 yards each play means you lose every time.
What would I like to see. Headline: MONDAY MORNING MASSACRE Rams Head coach gutting players and staff. When will the madness end!
The worst thing for me is knowing we have added to Brady s mystic. It will always be, remember when Brady and co did absolutely nothing all game then in the final seconds marched down the field and stuck it right up the Rams arse. Man that just frosts my testicles.

It was more of a theory than anything, but how does one go from a perceived offensive 'genius' to overseeing such a shit show almost overnight ?
There are many factors and still stories to tell for Sean. I won't go so far as to say he is no longer an effective OC. I will say Martz trended down fast after the league figured out how to defend him. Sometimes all the creativity is in the initial design and there isn't enough flexibility and adjustment to reach or sustain that level of success. It often takes constant evolution and designing around the personnel you have you have not the personnel you don't

Ridiculous way to look at it. I cannot really reason with you so I have to just keep it simple. You dont really care about the opposing point of view or may be even what your seeimg in front of you. Had the game been a shootout fine but it wasnt. Id like to see the offense go to the defense today and tell them with a hidden camera. " you blew that game for us" the defense would go bonkers abd point out how inept and anemic they were and even just a little help the rams win this game.

The offense is unbelievably bad - id never imagine seeing a Mcvay offense this inept. It's depressing.

The defense is okay - but not great... we rank 17th in ppg but we force no turnovers.

Defense has forced 1 turnover in the past 5 games....

yeah the offense is toilet bowl but the defense is meh...

complimentary football at its finest.

Utterly frustrated at McVay! He made Higbee non-existent in the offense and if your run game isn't working and you have RBs that can catch out of the backfield...GET THEM OUT ON THOSE LBs!!!

Anybody see that? So our team is now 3-5 and the OLine is so make shift it's rickety!

Post season play is really in jeopardy at this point...and lastly, have you noticed when Stafford throws side arm he's throwing low all the time? That elbow ain't right folks!!!
