Ramer,until next year
We'll see. Donald wad scheduled to count $26.75M against the Rams' 2022 cap; and another $23.5M in 2023.So how does this affect our cap?
Yeah that's the sad part is this definitely points towards Donald walking away after the contract is up. Let's relish it now but I'll be sad as fuck when it happens. He's worth every penny. And you know he won't take his money and stop giving it his all. It's not in his DNA. If anything, his least mega deal (and it was mega at the time!) only motivated him to enter into a new stratosphere.
You will never replace Aaron Donald. But the Rams should start turning their minds to life after him. I suspect he does not play past this deal.
I'm sure he was given a huge bonus or something that frees up a decent amount of money. So how does this affect our cap? Can we still afford OBJ later in the year? Are there any decent edge rushers we might have a chance at?
Will Stan Kroenke be seen selling pencils on the corner of Sunset and Vine now? ( Ok just kidding on the last question.....for the most part)
