Oh, that's um... good for him?

I'm gonna be honest here, I don't know how much value Tutu provides to this offense at the moment. I respect his game as a solid super undersized WR but I think his absence has made McVay realize the obligatory deep threat isn't really necessary anymore.

Yeah, as great as his hands and speed are, when you can`t run block you detract from McVay`s masterpiece of an offense.

Even superstar WR Adams has been effective in run blocking (at least on the second level).

Tutu is the only guy who can stretch the defense. Having him back is a good thing. As long as they use him. So far they haven't taken advantage of his speed.

They have taken advantage of his speed, but only on a few occasions. Those 20 yard deep in`s take a lot of speed. But he`s only had like two of them. LOL.

He’s dropped at least 2 if we’re counting the one at the sidelines vs TB. That one looked like it went right through his hands.

IIRC, he dropped one a couple games back and then followed with a big catch. The announcers were quick to point out his atonement.

Wasn’t that Ferguson, or am I mistaken?
I just googled it man, blame Google cuz I'm not keeping track of all of his drops :laugh1: ...... Ferguson does need more opportunities though. Tutu is nice to have because of his speed but as usual, he hasn't been used much which seems to unfortunately be the norm. The offense doesn't really need him but I hope McVay finds a way to utilize all our weapons if possible.

Fergy can low key do it with speed against his matchups and height/size but he needs to block, know his assignments better and catch better. But it looks like it's just a consistency thing, I think he can do it if he wants to.

It's necessary against the right opponent. Everyone has their role.

And I have to agree:

I just don't know how TuTu is going to fit in or if we want him to based on the Rams success without him.

Ok.
So, another way of saying what I was saying.....they each have their role.
Its like saying we should play a cover corner less to get a great blitzed on the field.....that will be determined by situation.
I get your point.... But my point is leave well enough alone, until "well enough" stops working.

Our offense is only missing one thing and that's speed to keep defenses from crowding the LOS. I think the threat of tutu can at least keep that open.

I get it...

But I don't want any opportunities taken away from Adams and Nacua. ...... Seems selfish but we have been extremely successful without TuTu.

What an embarrassment of riches.

I always find myself shouting, “throw it to Puka” when things get dicey (like every 3rd down), but him missing a game opened everything up and now the Rams have too many options to cover.

Can we be a little real here please?
Atwell’s been gone a month, while we played Jville, the Aints, depleted Buccs and 4-picks Seabags.

So saying we don’t need/ can’t benefit from Tutu is simply parroting the CW if a lot of posters.

He’ll play a part-trust me boys.

We gotta be able to take the top off a defense. Even if we don’t connect on them this week, I’d love to see Tutu get 2-3 balls 40+ yards downfield. Gotta keep the defense honest.
