There's room for Tutu and Fergy for sure. Right now Tutu has far superior hands to Fergy and that's something.
Just read that Ferguson has a 0% drop rate online so that's something I wouldn't agree with. Problem is Ferguson needs more opportunities to actually make a fair comparison. Rams should definitely find a way to get both involved if possible.

Couldn’t tell if defender blocked his vision but Ferguson dropped one last night IMO.

I couldn't even begin to dispute that, I was dead ass asleep after halftime because I was working a shit ton of hours. However, comparing Tutu and Ferguson's hands makes zero sense to me as Ferguson hasn't even gotten a ton of opportunities to make a great comparison. I just say find a way to use both as they have different strengths we should take advantage of if possible.

You fell asleep???? BLASPHIMER!!!!!

The Bucs game was a great example of when you would want to run three tight ends, that being with a big lead and then it's time to mash that ball up their asses.

One funny thing I noted was the look on McVay's face late third quarter when the offense came off the field for a punt... He was visibly pissed off and barking a bit at Stafford. Which I think runs counter to the idea he takes his foot off the gas. Makes me think it is just as viable that the offense relaxes a bit as a group when they get the big lead. Which is not a good habit and something to work on going forward.
I've never felt the charge was that he takes his foot off the gas in terms of intensity. I don't know if this guy ever does that.

He takes his foot off by calling different kind of plays. Sometimes they'll be having great success being aggressive and then when we get a big lead, he's less aggressive, he attacks less, mixes in more running, etc.

FWIW, I didn't see him letting up yesterday. And yeah you're right. It could be that the players are letting up.

It was probably ruled uncatchable. It hit the fingertips of his extended hand. He probably would have had to leave his feet to get two hands on it.

Tutu is the only guy who can stretch the defense. Having him back is a good thing. As long as they use him. So far they haven't taken advantage of his speed.

I saw that.... I think Stafford audibled out of the set play and it got McVay's kinckebockers in a bunch.... lol...

I was more laughing at Stafford's face I think it was in the 1st quarter when he had a baffled WTF look on his face with a play call coming into his helmet speaker.... I'm sure it was McVay speaking at the speed of sound... lol...
Lmaoo I saw that too. McVay basically asked Stafford “what the fuck??” as the offense was coming off the field.

The funny part about that is, during the SNF interview with Jason Garrett, Stafford talked about how he and McVay bump heads sometimes because McVay runs pretty hot and Stafford is fairly laid back. And I was thinking “hmm, I can’t remember too many times where I saw tension between them on the sidelines”. And then that interaction in the 3Q happened and I was like “oh haha”.

It’s good though, Stafford has said that he wants to be coached hard and I think it sets the perfect culture when the entire team knows that McVay holds every single player/coach/staff member accountable.

He’s dropped at least 2 if we’re counting the one at the sidelines vs TB. That one looked like it went right through his hands.

IIRC, he dropped one a couple games back and then followed with a big catch. The announcers were quick to point out his atonement.

Wasn’t that Ferguson, or am I mistaken?
