Marquise Brown played just two games in 2024 due to an injury but got one-year and $11M.

Dyami Brown got one-year and $10M.
Darius Slayton and Joshua Palmer both got three-year deals and $36M (average of $12M-per).

Atwell's 2024 numbers were as good or better than those of Brown, Slayton and Palmer.
He’ll be ready for a playoff run.He adds an element that’s hard to find.He knows The Rams(Mcvay’s) offense as good as anyone y.!!;!;
He opens up a roster spot & Mcvay isn’t worried.

Ferguson’s TD opened up a new part of the offense. They just used that 4th down to the team for reference. It showed them drawing the Jags offside. Then they showed how Higbee & Davis protected Stafford’s blindside, plus the patience Ferguson had on his TD route. This shows that a 12(13) formation can work.

That must’ve been early in DeSean’s career with the Eagles. His days with Washington were frustrating because he could fly down the field, get open, and even track the ball, but he often couldn’t catch it.
Just wish he would’ve committed to Pete Carrol.Funny how the QB in that draft class was the famous Mark Sanchez.
Anyway Bobby Trees was such a SOLID Ram!! What a CLASS ACT!! He meant a lot to Kupp.

The vitriol is amazing. McVay seems to like Tutu. His team mates seem to like him. He does his job.....be a deep threat and open up things in route combos. And he won a game for us this year. Wow. The vitriol is truly amazing.
You're confusing vitriol with rejection of "Tutu is a victim of non-use" logic.

I have said many times that I have nothing against the kid. I am simply tired of hearing how he's some super weapon we are ignoring. Fact is the team has given him the snaps but he simply cannot put together the consistency required to be more than a bit part player in this offense.

And we had the same bullshit going on with Tavon too. There was a time when Tavon was some amazing weapon who was going to make the Rams rue the day they moved him, replete with wailing and gnashing of teeth and citing things like punt returns that were called back.

I simply don't rate players until they have performance on the field, shown in a consistent manner. Now that said I will hope and support players in their first year or two after being drafted. But I am not going to hang on and keep hoping and that doesn't mean I'm against them. I always welcome top performance. From any player.

I don't think I am. But okay.

Then again.........perhaps......maybe......quite possibly.......some are conveniently disguising their vitriol as something else.
I still want the player to never be named again

He is the Voldemort of Rams fans

Maybe so. But the difference in takes is I'm not the one telling someone what they think. I'm the one sharing what I think.

Perhaps that's the disconnect.

The good receiver lacking opportunities has somehow morphed into a super weapon the team is ignoring.

The only deal is I can't recall anyone ever saying the latter.

You know what they say....."never let the facts get in the way of a good argument".

No. You're telling people what they should think. Or that they should think like you. Cause you're right, right? And those that think different are defending Tutu, claiming he's a victim, blaming everyone else. That's not even close to the actual argument, though, is it?

What vitriol?

lol. You are ignoring McVay's words. Jackson's words. And now it appears questioning the integrity of Woods actions as team captain.
You have to be joking
McVay said nice thing about every player he lets go
Man revisionist history for sure
Tutu this season is a vast disappointment, McVay made it clear he was going to be a key component. McVay's words. 4 catches is not it. Can sugar coat it all you like, move the goal posts as much as you like. Doesnt change the facts. If he's not getting the opportunities, who's fault is that?

I was hoping that you were joking and if you re-read our exchanges you'll see that no goal post has been moved by myself.

Tutu's season thus far has been a disappointment. We agree.

But you said the kid doesn't have it.
I said he can play, but wasn't being utilized. Are you telling me that's impossible?

You pointed to stats and said he couldn't get open.
I referred to All-22 film and pointed out that he and others were getting open, but not getting the ball due to the way the offense had been set to go through Puka & Adams. I also pointed out how Stafford has peppered 1 (or 2) WRs with targets in the past.

You ignored that point and countered with stats of other Rams WRs in comparison mistakenly disregarding that the other WRs have been used a bit in packages sans Adams and Puka.

I also pointed out that his underutilization is the same thing happened with Jackson and why he wanted out. I even provided quotes from both McVay and Jackson saying the same thing.

You totally disregarded the point being made and went on to disparage Jackson as a cancer while providing NOT ONE LICK OF PROOF that this was the case and especially with the Rams that season.

BTW, if McVay had experience with Jackson's cancerous behavior with Washington, why would he want a malcontent on the Rams? I really don't expect an answer because I still haven't heard why you think McVay and Rams re-signed a WR for $10 million that doesn't have it after watching him for 4 years.

Tavon was an amazing weapon. The only weapon the Rams had in 2015. Then he got paid and became a useless oaf. Even Mcvay couldn't get anything useful out of him. Tavon should have eaten up those jet sweeps for big yardage but he kept running out of bounds.

I'm pretty sure everyone was happy when they traded him away for a bag of chips.

Should have used blue font there. I was using hyperbole for effect. :laugh2:

Everyone's happy about it now. Since it's clear the Rams and their utilization wasn't the problem.

I was made because they gave away the chips.

Tutu has 4 catches on 152 snaps. Under utilized? Try, not getting open.
Smith 3 catches on 56 snaps, 1 less catch on 100 less snaps
Mumpfield 2 catches on 78 snaps, trending up lets see where he's at at 150.
Whitt 12 catches on 280 snaps, triple that catches on 30% more snaps
We're comparing guys 5th-7th on depth chart to the 10 mill man, and he's behind all of them
Here the strawman, goal post mover.

Nice move butchering my post.

Yes, nobody cared at the time when tavon was traded. We all saw he wouldn't put his body on the line. Not now, then.
