Apples and Oranges.
Its proven that the Rams dont need Tutu to win, we've seen it for 5 years. The idea that him being available as a decoy is as vital to the success as Puka is an embarrassing take
We needed him definitely to beat the Colts. Without him that probably was an L.
And we won handily against a 4-2 Jaguars without Puka, and mostly without Tutu.

He got hurt thanks to Stafford's shitty pass that Nacua had to break up so it would be intercepted.

I just went back to re-watch the play.

It was Not a 'shitty pass'. Far from it.

Humphrey had excellent coverage. Stafford released the ball from the 25 and it went into the end-zone (covered almost 30 yards in the air). Humphrey and Nacua both went up for the ball but Humphrey had the inside position. Nacua is excellent at catching contested balls; and Stafford frequently gives him a chance.

And eventually Jarquez Hunter (I gotta think he'll get time eventually), Tru Edwards and Brennan Presley; they looked outstanding in the preseason. Maybe they're for next year, but I think they'll be finds as well.
I am expecting we will see much more of Jarquez in the second half of the season. He appears to have impressed the coaches as being unusually bright. The biggest issue is his need to be an effective pass protector for Matthew. If he can give in on that successfully, we will have our very own answer to Saquon Barkley.

4 catches in 7 games, don't think we'll miss him that much. Now that he's on IR he ain't even trade bait. Comp pick, get serious. He ain't sniffing shit of a new, good contract that would potentially compensate us. Any $10m lineman or CB would have been money better spent. Last thought, if you HAVE to scheme a guy open just to get him the ball then he probably has few separation skills despite the speed.

Yep. Little bastid is heading straight for the offseason budget FA pile. He'll get offers and if he's smart he'll focus on the scheme over the money amount to give himself the best chance to succeed.

McVay openly spoke about how they were going to get him more involved while Stafford is having arguably his best season ever, yet despite those 2 things happening, Tutu is having his worst production season. Reality is that he just doesnt have it.
I dont understand the fascination fans have with this guy.

I could be off base here, but I have a feeling that the Rams put him on IR to open up a roster spot for McCreary and may have a trade in the works with Snead adding another 6th round pick for Atwell.

He is the most amazing weapon ever. McVay "is and idoit" who doesn't know how to use him.

Interesting, next man up. This guy is an absolute burner speed wise.

Very much is a burner. Forrmer fourth-round pick of the Bears in 2023, 4.39 forty at the Combine, and he actually had a decent broad-jump and vertical as well, averaged 16.6 yards per reception in his junior year and 17.3 in his sophomore year. Fourteen total receiving touchdowns in college. And he's still only twenty-four years old.

I like the move.

EDIT: OH, and fun fact, the draft pick the Bears used to select Scott is the same pick the Eagles traded for, drumroll please...Robert Quinn.

Not possible, once he is on IR for 4 weeks, he'll pass the Trade Deadline
Only thing they can do is do an IR release.
