Granted they have not won the big prize thankfully, but they have been to the NFC Championship game 3 out of the last 4 years and One Super Bowl Appearance, IMO, that is pretty consistent. I would rather see them not that close.

the closer you get to the biggest prize the more bitter the defeat. as long as they don't win the superbowl it's so satisfying seeing them crumble out of the playoffs. two 10 point leads in the 4th qtr blown by this team, one in the superbowl and one in the nfc championship game, was fantastic to watch. almost better than seeing the rams win. and to see the rams overcome a 10 point deficit to beat those fucking whiners in the nfc championship game was the greatest moment in my sport viewing life.
and to think them wasting 3 1st round picks on lance maybe having an effect on those three losses makes it one of the sweetest bad trades in nfl history.

Between ramsey and Stafford, the Rams had at least 3 traded 1rst rounders ON THE FIELD, while lance (3 traded 1rst rounders) was on the bench.
Yeah, it made a difference. Go ahead haters, tell us again how the Rams blew it by putting a SB title ahead of annual, “oh! So close! Maybe next year.”

I figured he would get good after a year or so. How good? His ceiling is/was huge, I was concerned about his potential, but I never thought his floor would be this low (snicker).
