he must've skipped Fisher's rookie seminar on financial management.
that 3 mil gets divided up REAL quick tho between agents and taxes etc. as long as he's smart. dont end up like the Warren Sapp or TO type of playerHardly.
If that car cost say 60k (which it's probably cheaper, because it looks like an older model), that's like 2% of a 3mil deal.
That's like making 100k a year and spending 2k on a car. Not a bad deal, eh?

Well, the Autobiography is brand new - I didn't realize it was even released yet. But from my experience NFLers love fancy SUVs. I have literally driven past the Cardinals' training facility multiple thousands of times (I have worked just down the street from it since 2001) and it is amazing the number of overblown SUVs I have seen.
Hopefully this is Mason's one big expenditure, and he has enough sense to keep it in shape for years, while investing his earnings towards his post-pro career.
I wasn't a new car guy. But now, I am. Why?
Simple:
I know how it's going to be taken care of. I know the maintenance will be a priority. I know how rough it will be driven. Most of all, it's new and no one has handled it but me. Plus, it will more than likely last longer than a used vehicle because of the previous reasons.
Loan?! I had you pegged as a Straight Cash Homie @RamFan503 !Yeah - I hate other people's headaches and their funky odors a few months after buying a used car. I may lose money on the front end but I get that new car smell and I know that no one else has thrashed on it. Also, good luck getting a zero interest loan on a used car.

I've completely lost interest in expensive material possessions. Is that what happens with age?
