Watch this play a few times. Higbeast does a couple nice things here:
  • fights off coverage to get open on his break without pushing off.
  • CATCHES the ball with his hands.
  • Keeps his feet after the catch. Looked a lot like Gronk. Just sayin'. (I think he is seeing the challenge of Everett, the tackle breaking monster.) A rising tide raises all boats!
Goff threw a perfect strike as well.

That's nice to see from Goff. Look at when he throws the ball. Higbee hasn't cut yet. Anticipation tends to be more "you have it, or you don't" than most other QB skills.

LOL wow thanks for all the updates guys.

It seemed like it was an amicable practice and good for both sides.
Anti-Jeff Fisher; lacking a clear purpose or direction: i.e. Rams-Cowboys preseason fiasco-

Thanks for updates Jack and the rest. Well some good and some bad sounds right. One thing for sure is it has to give the coaches a better idea of where the team is. They work on the problem areas and see how they do next go round. Can't hurt be in front of a crowd on a real field.

Rams are down a lot of receivers -- Tavon Austin, Mike Thomas, Bradley Marquez and Josh Reynolds. They were heavy on slot receivers before; even more so now. Lot of rollouts and short, high-leverage passes for Jared Goff today. Sean McVay has a knack for making life difficult for a defense and easy for his quarterback. He'll do that here.
