I called that also, a few days ago.

i think due to a number of factors, teams are reluctant to trade with us.

we got Ramsey, they botched the picks.

so yeah, I don’t think we trade this year

I really don't remember hearing anything about an extension for either of those guys. OBJ was a FA, so they could have signed him long term. Miller was always going to become a FA at the end of the year. Ramsey was actually the closest to the Chubb situation.

By the time we have a first round pick Donald will be 33 years old. If that pick doesn't hit immediately Donald won't make it to see it.

Cap is going up again next year. We'll be able to get more FA help in the off-season and get a lot of our guys healthy on the OL. We can also be aggressive buyers at next years deadline if we're contending. I'm glad we didn't make a huge move just to make one. I would've been fine with Burns, Chubb, or Hunt.. but I'm honestly glad we just saved our picks. We're due to hit a home run with a 2nd rounder next year.
