Our 2024 first rounder... I mean you can add that with a third and land Jim. And burns is worth a pick in the mid 20s to 30s I think.
I think Carolina could do better.

I just think the Rams’ trade able assets are limited. A high-end acquisition seems unlikely. Would love to be dead wrong. Thought the Von Miller trade was a unique situation.

Relying on 2 backs.. with one with a pronounced injury history & the other a rookie coming off an injury is certainly a choice.

Not one I would make.

The Rams used THREE different RBs yesterday and Williams is due back.

1)I wouldn’t part with any draft capital just yet, especially for a RB.
2) not sure the Rams have anybody tantalizing enough to trade for a RB unless another GM is eyeballing one of our rookie DBs.
Do we really want to part with one of them?
3) for all of those who malign Henderson, he is an excellent blocker in the passing game.
4) the only position I would consider trading away draft capital for would be OL…and I’m not sure I wanna do that just yet.

I don't think Burns is very high end which helps. He's a good edge rusher who isn't gonna threaten for many pro bowls I don't think. Might cheapen the blow that he isn't a major household name.

As far as trades go, the Rams should be focusing on either OL or OL. If they solve those two, then maybe look at OL.

I didn't but Evans has performed well before only to suck a lot of other times. Not confident in him consistently performing well. Also it was the Panthers.
I think it’s more about reps at a position he’s not used to.

He graded out the same as Evans has, roughly,

If they were to add a RB to this offense who can sustain carries for us and grind out those tough yards it would have a lot of impact. Probably the position that would impact us most, even more than a RG.

I was really happy with how Henderson played yesterday. But have to realize he probably won't be able to keep that up. Granted this is a contract year for him, meaning maybe he plays through his usual collection of dings he picks up this year. But history has to be considered in this equation and the Rams would be wise to consider him a third down option in this offense.

No idea what to expect from the rook. Excited to get him back but does he fill that role we need not so sure about that. Adding another back feels necessary here and that's even considering that the WRs can continue to help out in the run game.

If I knew CMC would be injury free for at least a few years I'd make a deal with him because he'd give McVay his new Gurley. With Van Jefferson coming back and hopefully a few o-line the offense would take off with CMC I think. But we have little to trade unless Panthers are willing to take something in 2024. The only concern as always is injury and that we might very well end up with Gurley post-2018 part deux.

Perhaps they dangle Gaines or A Shawn as trade bait.

Not a bad idea, even if somewhat unpopular. One of them won't be re-signed in the off-season anyway as they both enter free agency. Bobby Brown will return from his suspension and I believe he's been allowed to keep practicing with the team if I'm not mistaken. jmo.

If the Rams want to add real talent, that's not an unreasonable thought.

I would hate to lose either player but both Unrestricted free agents after the season. If the Front Office thinks it's unlikely that both can be re-signed, then ... Maybe.

Hey I would prefer the Rams trade TuTu Atwell for Brian Burns; and Bobby Evans and a #7 for Jedrick Wills; and Jeremiah Kolone and a #6 for ... well ... pretty-much anyone

Prediction: He will command a 6th round pick and the Rams will accept.

Yeah I'd love a higher pick too but I don't over rate Ram players on the trade market like some do.

Don't we already kind of have that with our RB committee though? If it were me I'd focus on acquiring some OL who can block as though they played in the NFL.
