Just now on NFLN they had the Top % Pass rushing Duo's of ALL Time!! #1 You guessed it DEACON JONES AND MERLIN OLSEN!
When they got thru the 1st 4 and hadn't mentioned them, I thought "If it's not them I'll Destroy my TV!! The TV is still alive!!

I don't remember If I have shared this story before or not But Deacon once told me that in his 1st year of Pro Football he got everyone of his Teeth knocked out! But, he added " I NEVER got Hurt again!! True story!!
Just for tivia's sake, Deacon 1st D-Line in 1961 was made up of :
* LDE - Deacon
* LDT - Urban Henry
* RDT - John LoVetere
* RDE - Lamar Lundy

'86-- 32.5 combined sacks. Taylor 20.5 Marshall 12/

Taylor was an absolute terror. 132 sacks in 12 years.

Carl Banks was no slouch on that team either.
