Put that dude on kick returns
Never in a million years will they put a potential HoF running backin at KR. Hell they don't even let Tavon return kicks. It'll be Benny Cunningham again once Mason and Gurley are both playing.

This is my bet.Fisher is just trying force Gruden's defense to spend valuable time watching some old Georgia tape
I'm not familiar with Washington's field. I'd like to get him at least 10 carries. He needs to take a hit or two.

I'm not a fan of this AT ALL.I can see them using Todd as a KR early on. As he assumes starting RB duties those KR duties would go away.
I don't see it happening. He's damn good at it, but I think that would just be putting him in a bad position. I like Benny as a kick returner. Real shifty and read the blocks well.I can see them using Todd as a KR early on. As he assumes starting RB duties those KR duties would go away.
Cool! Looks like it's much improved over years past...
While he'd be great there, kick returns are also the most dangerous plays in the game. I'm not sure it'd be a good idea to put him out there as of yet, or at all. I just can't see Fisher wanting him out there. If Gurley does play, I think the best way to use him would be as our starting KR. Maybe get him a few touches as a runner to warm him up and a catch or two as a receiver. But I think he'd offer us the biggest boost as a KR.

Dangerous? Yes. But I don't think they're dangerous for Gurley. I'm sure there are examples but I am having a hard time thinking of KRs that tore their ACLs on kickoff returns. You risk concussions, soft tissue injuries, ankle injuries, etc. but my biggest fear with Gurley is the knee.
Plus, I think it's worth the risk of the other injuries. He's that much of a dynamic athlete and game changer. He was a top tier KR in college and that's a good way to get him early touches without risking too much on offense.
