I said earlier in this thread I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas wins this game.

If Dak wasn't such a choker they could have won.

And Lamb dropping that pass...

He just didn't have the chops last night.

I can count at least 4 times Smith and Brown were wide open each near or in the endzone. Hurts ran the ball instead. Dallas would have won that game if Lamb stops dropping passes. He dropped 4 Passes that all could have been huge plays. Eagles were kicking thier own ass with stupid flags. Hurts did not QB in this game. Instead he was RB1. Nick was visibly pissed at Hurts multiple times on his runs.

Eagles defense has no discipline at all. The one stat that stands out: Penalties DAl 4 (42 yrds) Eagles 9(110 yds). Most of the Calls were correct. Hell Honestly they should have had a few more for Holding. ( what a surprise!) I mean they got one even before the game started and an ejection LMAO.

That loss honestly belongs to Lamb. I mean DAK was shaky, but to be fair he hasnt played since what October of last year?
I concur this loss lies squarely on Lamb, the game was there for the Cowboys and they couldn't get it done. Shotty's offense looked pretty good, but after the weather delay, nothing.

Den, you don't ever have to post again, mike drop.............
Kupps soul stealing catch versus Bucs, Puka always making it look easy, Bennie Skow against the Raiders from Mayfield. Rams are blessed with some sure handed historic wins from their receivers when the chips were down.

2 observations

Eagles aren't as good as last year
Cowboys are gonna cowboy.
Eagles are still one of our top threats to the top this season. Not having Carter is a huge hole for that defense and let the Cowboys work downfield a lot more than they probably planned... too bad receivers can't catch the ball. But agreed that the Eagles are a little more watered down this year compared to last. Don't have as much depth to handle injuries if needed.

The offense is just annoying to watch. Hurts is not a good QB I don't care what people say. The Eagles built an offense around Hurts physical strengths to minimize his lack in ability as a passer to progress through targets. That oline and Hurts ability to run when he can't see his wide open receivers down field keeps them alive every drive for him to eventually hit his open first read for chunk plays. Be interesting if Dickerson misses a lot of time or they lose any other players. Cowboys were having success once that oline started getting banged up.

Agreed, I wonder if carter is gonna face a suspension from the NFL for spitting on Dak... I know they brought it up during the game. But it wouldn't surprise me if they just fined him.

Yeah phillys offense reminds me of a high school offense, run run and qb run w an option to pass. No doubt their oline and rb are probably the best two units in the NFL but I always find it interesting that NFL defenses have a hard time stopping it. I guess it goes to show how important good olines and rbs are.

if he gets suspended, it's precedent setting, agree it's prob just a fine

Or the refs.

Just watched this on Game Pass, as it was overnight here, and - as others have already mentioned in this thread - the amount of holding with which the Eagles get away is disgusting.
It’s always bothered me that in pro sports, the games are undoubtedly officiated with some bias based towards a particular team’s reputation of style of play.

Teams that have that “rep” of being physical get away with more physicality.

Teams that have the rep of being finesse teams can play the same way, yet get flagged for the same physical play.

Maybe I'm a bit more cynical than you, but I suspect that games are reffed to obtain a certain outcome. I have seen it happen in our football (in the UK) for decades.

Money talks.

Hurts likes to run and benefits from the “butt plug”. Other than that never been impressed.
