If you live in SoCal, this is the one time to go. Even if it’s at $4-5k/ticket. You are not spending thousands on a plane ticket, hotel, car rental, vacation days off, etc. that you normally would when going to a game that’s not in your backyard.

Most important, keep perspective and follow your plan for your long term goals. If you are lucky enough to be in a position to go, get er done and rep ROD to the fullest extent.

Big fan of Dave Ramsey “Live like no one else today some you can live and give like no one else tomorrow.”

I am not a rich man but I have worked damn hard in my 40 plus year career and have been really good at saving and living well within my means.

This is the one time in my life I am not going to miss this Rams history. And my wonderful wife is generous in her support.

Spent more than others and less than others. So all is good.

Sure wish it was an event ALL my ROD friends could make.

GO RAMS!!!

Brudda... I came within a frog's hair of buying some last Sunday morning. My mother was on the phone with me telling me to get my ass out there.

The tickets are not really the worst part for me. The cross country airfare isn't it either. I saw real issues with finding a decent place to stay and then dealing with the travel/traffic once we got out there.

I know we had a great time hanging out with you guys at the last one in Atlanta. Hopefully you can get yourselves into the pregame party this time if they have that out there. Whatever it is... please share some pics and bring us home a DUB this time!

Have a great time guys!!!

Its almost like lighting money on fire. Other things are more important.
Cars ? I paid 32K for my loaded Tundra in 07. Has 90,000 miles on it, great shape.
To replace the truck it is 65-70K$. Thats insane.

That's really great mileage for a 2007, you must have an everyday run-around car for regular use.

yeah I get that. What I dont get it people driving 45K cars and then say oh how could I ever afford to go to a SB.....

Hope its a Rams Crowd Sunday, but really it shouldnt matter if we play well.

FINISH THE JOB
45k? Have you priced cars lately? My Passat is 45k. Not exactly some rich guy car. And 400k for a house? Shit. Here in Reno, the median price for a house is 625k. Good luck getting much of anything in the 400k range unless you want to commute 40 miles each way.

Yeah I was going to go but the prices turned me off. Not gonna do it last minute. Was gonna stay in Vegas for a week and pop down to SoCal for the festivities here and there to include game day.

I have always had a "beater" work car. Its a 1998 Honda Civic my mom had. To tell you the truth, best engineered car on the road. Has 270K on it and by the time I am done with it it will have 500K+.
Its easy to work on, very reliable, parts are cheap. I can change the fuel pump in 20 minutes with a 10mm wrench and screwdriver. Everything works, 32MPG, looks like crap, don't have to wash it. Perfect.

Well, not the truck I drive which is an F350.
Sounds like a very nice vehicle. I'm in F150 territory. Again maybe after I nab that management position when my boss retires in 15 years I could get myself an F350

I really required the Ford Dually 4WD Diesel for towing purposes, I have a big twin Axel Utility trailer that I use for an avocation as well as a boat at Lake Havasu, so it meets my needs. Must say though, as I get older, neither are getting the use they once did.
