I know its still out of range for many and I get it.

But if your local LA, and can swing it, get there and make it a Rams Crowd. Every little bit helps.

I think it is a sign that people are just a bit in disbelief at the price of these kinds of events while having to spend more on regular living expenses.

the only way i would spend $$ like that is if i had true "F-U" money. yes, i'd love to go and experience it. i was at game 7 when the angels won the world series and that was magical, but several thou for 1 seat? that's a real tough sell.

I dont have FU money at all.

I do ok but certainly not rich. I live very modestly but IM not missing this!! To each his own thogth I respect everyone's way of how they spend their hard earned cash. But someone driving a 45K car living in a 400K house can certainly afford it, they choose not to...which is fine....

Go Rams

What? I drive a 45k car, and unless I get that management position when my boss retires in 15 year I'll probably never be able to go.

All depends what other bills you have and your job security etc..

Heck, I have my daughter's wedding coming up that will cost me a pretty penny. Just put two kids through college, in which I helped them a lot with.
I would love to go, but air fare, tickets, hotel etc... Just not in the budget right now. Maybe in a few yrs if they can get there again.

Heck, my son and I would just like to get there for a big reg season game in a few yrs. That's the goal right now. Maybe a weekend, catch a USC game, or Dodgers game in the Fall, etc...

I drive a pickup that cost more than 45k and live in a nice house, but I’d have to take out a second mortgage in order to buy two tickets. Most people don’t have the cash flow to spend that much on a ticket.

This is L.A., a nice vehicle is closer to $75,000. - $80,000. and a middle class home is edging closer to $1M. The cost of living here is also very high.

The lowest cost ticket on TicketBastard is $3,100 right meow. After adding in extortion fees, that comes out to about $3,500+. While I basically fall slightly below your example category, I have two kids in day care plus other normal expenses including a mortgage.

The trip would cost me close to $8k for two tickets. With $8k I could get new flooring, new blinds and contract for moderate fixes, or a new HVAC system.

My alternative is to spend $200 on the game for food and drink, and watch with my family on a 65" screen in the comfort of my home. No long lines for food, restrooms, parking etc.

Honestly, the brokers and the Rams have gotten greedy. If you want to charge those high prices, you risk deterring your hardcore fans from attending your games.

What? You can still find a truck for 40k in LA. But the middle class homes and general cost of living are indeed quite high.

I paid $1500 for my truck. Of course I only use it when I need to actually haul something. ;)

I am not a rich man but I have worked damn hard in my 40 plus year career and have been really good at saving and living well within my means.

This is the one time in my life I am not going to miss this Rams history. And my wonderful wife is generous in her support.

Spent more than others and less than others. So all is good.

Sure wish it was an event ALL my ROD friends could make.

GO RAMS!!!
