This Saints Games is a lot bigger then we may think (11-5 may not make it)

(also not worried about the hawks Russell accounts for 80ish % of the hawks offense output ,,,i dont think thats sustainable )

Agree.

Watch them and he's all they have, really.

Contain him (not easy, but doable) and the offense sputters badly.

Not to mention, if they keep that up, he'll end up on IR soon.

I think we are going 10-6 and winning the division.

We have 7 wins and should beat the Niners Cards and Seattle. Should also beat Tennessee for 11 wins. I don’t see us beating the Saints or Eagles unless our secondary gets healthy and woods comes back.

The Seahawks will go 9-7 or 8-8. They have 4 losses and should lose to the Eagles Rams Jags and Cowboys. The cowboys will have Elliott and Tyron Smith back and will be at home.

And when this happens we need to have a party conference call and all scream “whaz up!!!!!!!!”

I'm with you on the games you think we will Win, But I REALY! REALY! want us to Beat the Aint's! We owe them one after the way they Embarrassed us the last time we played them!!

That would make us 12-5 and hopefully give us a Bye week, and a Home Field to start the Playoff's!

We've been saying that every season. That team defies the laws of logic and averages. Hate them.
Yeah... but this year feels different to me.

They used to be a more well-rounded offense... especially when they had Lynch in his prime. Like @UKram said, Wilson accounts for like 80% of the offense... didn't used to be that way. More one dimensional... and that's never a good thing.

For whatever reason, SEA doesn't scare me much at all. Shame the Rams missed that opportunity in the first meeting... but I think I'll feel confident when they meet again.

I'm not worried about making the play offs. This team is too good and Seattle aren't THAT team anymore (at least not this year with the injuries they've had). The NFC West is ours.

My concern is if the Rams can't beat at least one of NO and Philly, then people will start to think of the Rams as a one and done play off team. While this would still be a huge improvement on the last 15 years, it would put us in with the likes of recent Texans and Bengals teams which would be a big disappointment considering the season so far.
What they think doesn't matter. What the Rams DO, is what matters.

I'm pretty sure the cheats missed out one year when they went 11 and 5. The year Brady got injured in week 1 and cassell took over for the season.

.
OMG I forgot about that! Good for the Pats that year! I looked it up, and they'e the only team that missed with that record since 1990 when NFL switched to 12 team playoff format.

I was in panic mode before the Seahawks lost to the Falcons.

Now, Seattle has Philly and Jacksonville, which I have as surefire losses for them. They play Philly at home, but both of those teams are incredibly strong where Seattle is weak.

Then Seattle also has:

@Niners
@Cowboys
Rams
Cardinals

Seattle's best case is to sweep those games - but if we lose to them, on the road or not, we don't deserve to be in the playoffs anyways.

I think that they will be 7-6 going into our game - we'll be 8-5 or 9-4 if we beat the Saints. If we're 9-4, we can officially clinch the division by beating them. If we're 8-5, we can unofficially clinch the division by beating them because we still have the Niners at home.

I don't think it's a lock for Seattle to even beat the Niners this week. They're coming off a bye while Seattle has a short week and it's in SF.

Yup, my math gets to 12-4 as "doable."

But "likely"......I don't believe so.

We're playing better "D" teams now, division leaders and defending divisional champions, injuries are beginning to sting a bit. I'd definitely bet a bitcoin or two on 11-5, more probably 10-6. :fuelfire:

All potentially true but likely schmikely.

Each fan decides how they want to cheer their favorite team, for sure.

It just struck me as kinda funny... comparing the general sentiment of the board early in the year (one game at a time... not sure how this year will turn out... hoping... would be ecstatic if they got to or above .500)... to now (what needs to happen to get into the playoffs?)

It's like, at the beginning of the season, we would be satisfied with morsels of a good team... now, it's like sitting down at the Thanksgiving feast, eating as much as we could and figuring out how to stuff yet more into our mouths. Not at all a bad thing... just funny to me (observation).

Which leads me to:
* One of the things I am thankful for (truth be told, it's pretty low on the list because I hope I have my priorities straight) is this Rams season. No matter how it turns out, it's been one heck of a great ride thus far and I am grateful.
* A very Happy Thanksgiving to all the members of ROD... and all Rams fans everywhere! Here's to a win Sunday!!
Yep. But I think it’s kind of a likely dynamic among fans. If we were where the predictors said we’d be at this point, you’d see a bunch of draft threads. But we are in it more than half way through the season - thus playoff threads and posts.

And back at you and all the ROD members. Hope all are healthy, thankful, and have a great Thanksgiving. Cheers.

He is also their leading rusher FWIW

A 12-5 record would put the Rams in the NFC Championship game @DaveFan'51.

As of their last game, it's 86%. Take him out of the game and they are toast. Much like the Packers without Rodgers.

You are correct. But I feel confident that Seattle isn't going 5-1 to finish the year. If we take care of our business against them and the teams we should beat, we'll make it.

Can Todd Gurley have the game of his life with using our jet sweep game and new found Malcom Brown replacement and just throw enough to back off 8 in the box? We need a game of 150 yards against the Saints. Can we play that game ? Simple question. Does Todd have that game in him with our O-Line putting the team on its back? I see no other shot with players we are missing. Can't play shootout with Brees. Thankfull not in dome. We lose our first dome game on a slick track in Minny. They just imploded the building we won our only Super Bowl in. Georgia Dome memories only on tape and pictures now. I think we have an outdoor team for some reason. We must treat saints RB's like Adrian Peterson. then not sure Brees couldn't pass us silly.Unless we can get sacks again and a couple turnovers we may get boatraced. Hoping for Holiday miracles. Saints owe us one as New Orleans in 2000 loss in playoffs with two pooched punt fumbles by AZ then 2001 in Superdome we let Cheatriats to film our walk through & 9/11 game where the fix was in. We are owed one. Dislike the saints bad. Was in New Orleans in 1983 when all was lost till Dickerson & Everett go off on Bum Phillips saints with Earl Campbell and the packed dome was hoping for first Playoff game in team history as winner of this last season game went to the Playoffs. In 1983 Mike Lansford the barefoot kicker kicked a 42 yard fieldgoal with no time left as I barely escaped with my Ram dressed life from the Who-Dats. Was an awesome memory in my RAMS fandom. I want GURLEY to run over LSU like he played for Georgia. Need a killer game from Todd with a few make up catches from Kupp spread in.

No 11-5 team has ever missed the playoffs...ever. This is gonna be a grind to get to 11-5, but if Rams make it...they're in!

Not being a dick but the 85 Broncos and 08 Patriots went 11-5 and missed the playoffs lol

Yes, I heard about the Pats. The Broncos were before 1990 when expanded to a 12 team current playoff format. So, not to be a dick, the Broncos don't count in the modern error! LOL
