I got to push-back a little bit here.
Certainly some truth / accuracy. Rams did have the ball late, with a chance to take the lead ... in Detroit (2023) ... in Philadelphia (2024) ... in Seattle (2025) ... and came-up short each time. That's entirely true.
I just don't think 'failed miserably' is fair or accurate.
In Detroit, I always have thought there was a DPI to end that drive, that the refs refused to call.
In Philadelphia, it was a failure of Limmer and Dotson to even try and block Carter that ended that drive.
In Seattle, the three plays from the Seattle six (netting zero yards) will haunt me but the Rams had a mere four possessions in the 2nd half ... the first two were TD-drives of 75 yards and 87 yards ... the third was the just noted 14-play / 84 yards turnover on downs at the Seattle six ... heck, even the final possession, with twenty-five seconds and no timeouts, the Rams gained 44 yards on 3 plays. That's 290 yards on 26 plays!
In all three of those very painful, season-ending losses, the Rams' Defense came-up short in my opinion.
Finally, the Rams' Offense came through at the end of the Carolina Wild Card Game; and, again in Overtime at Chicago in the Divisional Round.
