They already said it's in its final stages, which means the story is more than likely finished. They also said itll be on ps4/xbox and the new consoles.

Let’s hope then, I’m looking for something new to play after TLOU2 now. Madden looks to be shit, so that won’t distract me.

Haha. I literally only play MKX (mk11 sucks) and Dying Light when I have time. My son, Witten, will be 2 next month, so I don't get to play as often. When DL2 comes out, I may pull a selfish move and take that next day off. Lol.

So how hard did you have to lobby for Witten, or was she game already? I couldn’t get A cat named after a Rams player, I’m impressed.

Just learned that Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is on the Switch. Given that I fucking loved that game when it was on the original Xbox, I've got to have it.

Got it! I'm gonna seriously enjoy playing this game; that was part of growing up with an Xbox.

YES. I've been getting back into Assassin's Creed ever since I got Odyssey. I'm pumped for Valhalla.

I'm also quite curious about Cyberpunk 2077. It looks so good. And when Biomutant ever comes out, I have it preordered on Amazon.

Also got the Isle of Armor/Crown Tundra DLCs for Pokemon Sword and Shield.

I thought Odyssey was the furthest from an AC game ever, and even though I liked running around Greece as a Spartan warrior, I just never had that immersion. Maybe it was TOO big. Also, it all the camps and Spartan/Athenian camps were cut and paste from one part of the world to another. And don't get me started on those roaming bounty hunters. Ruined plenty a perfect stealth mission for me. And no hidden blade, like c'mon man!

If you haven't played AC Origins, that is one of the best.

Valhalla appears to look and feel like an AC game, especially based on the trailer. Targets, check. Kingdoms to conquer, check. Hidden blade, double check.

You sure Cyberpunk won't actually be releasing in 2077?

Speaking of Pokemon, I'm just about done with Pokemon Go. Hardly ever get anything good, and on the rare time I do, it's just unavoidable to make the good stuff great without throwing real money at it. I only do raids now with free passes to help my friends who do just that.

Odyssey was before even the Assassins. Remember, this is ancient Greece during the Peloponnesian War, which was before the Ptolemy era in Egypt (where Origins takes place). It was far away from being an Assassin's Creed because the Assassins (and Bayek and Aya, for that matter) weren't even born yet. Personally, I love the bounty hunters. That's one of the best - and most challenging - parts of the game. And there were plenty of targets in Odyssey: the Cultists. That was also fun. Granted, there weren't any speeches after that, but that's a minor part. I enjoyed Odyssey.

Origins is amazing. I loved Ancient Egypt. Not having the counter button threw me for a bit of a loop, but it was still great.

Valhalla looks to be the best of both Origins and Odyssey.

As for Cyberpunk, I hope it doesn't last too much longer. I'm guessing they're going to wait for the Xbox X/PS5 to come out, which is a shame, because I lack the funds.

Never got into Pokemon Go myself. Definitely planning on purchasing some of the older Pokemon games that I had on Amazon; there's plenty of them there. Yes, I realize that it's a lot of stuff I'm trying to get.

So I did a play-through of “Days Left”. It’s another post-apocalyptic game, but the mode of transportation is a dirt bike. I wanted to quit it shortly after starting it, but I kept giving it another chance. Glad I did. If you stick to the story and avoid the side quests, it’s very good. And it gets increasingly intense to the point where you get anxious during certain quests. Like, overly cautious and nervous about going into certain areas. It was fun.

I won’t give any spoilers, but this game has a “Walking Dead” feel to it, and it does involve hordes. That you have to take on by yourself. But here’s the kicker. These zombies can run. Fast. My only issue is that you have to do the side quests to make enough currency to get better weapons and upgrade your bike. Well, you might. I have Save Wizard, and can apply cheats to the game that start me with enough materials to make a shit ton of money in trade. If you don’t have Save Wizard, I highly recommend it. Especially if you’re more into casual gaming as opposed to grinding out tasks to make cash.

I'm not talking about the Assassin's Brotherhood. We had the hidden blade for 90% of the game in Origins, and even tho the Brotherhood itself wasn't founded, it still felt like an AC game.

Sure one on one the roaming bounty hunters were fun, just not when you're sooo close to sneakily taking down a fort, then get spotted by one and immediately kills you.

The best part of the game was those battles to flip lands to either Sparta or Athens controlled.

I never really had a problem with the bounty hunters. Yes, when they had you two-on-one, it was annoying, but they were still fun. And yes, the battles to flip control for one side or another were so much fun.

But yeah, the Brotherhood wasn't even close to being founded in Odyssey. That's why, instead of the hidden blade, you had Leonidas' spear for an assassination tool. It served its purpose well. Was it a hidden blade? No, but it still felt like an Assassin's Creed game - only earlier than the Assassins. (And as a note, in the Odyssey DLCs, you got to meet - and, I believe, marry - Darius, who was an Assassin.)

That's "Days Gone" right? I was thinking about giving it a shot. Is it more of a point A to point B linear structure or more open world?

Yeah, Days Gone. WTF is it with me and the typos lately? It's more open world. Pretty massive too, as its the same engine as the RDR2 game - Unreal Engine 4. So, if you played or liked RDR2, you'll like this one. If you haven't played RDR2, then you should absolutely do that too.
