One thing that is sort of being overlooked here is that you don't win a game with 4 turnovers unless you are beating that ass. The Rams were beating that Buccaneer ass. Whatever else anyone thinks right now the Rams beat that ass.
So thus far they beat the Cardinals' asses. And they beat the Buccaneers' asses. Pounded those asses.
I mean think about Cam's freak fumble on the 1. That's so unlike him. He was fucking trucking the dude. 7 points lost right there. His other fumble we were rolling, which as usual the Bucs had a lot of trouble stopping our offense, but to be conservative say 3 points. That's a 10 point swing right there from those two fumbles not to mention momentum and lost time in-game.
Then you have Kupp's fumble. Let's be conservative and say 3 points that drive. Or the fucking phantom snap by Allen's stupid ass when the offense was rolling again. Good chance we would have scored there IMO. So let's say 7 points.
Roughly 16 to 20 points were taken off the field due to those turnovers. So what we have here is people overlooking the dominance the Rams were showing over the Bucs. Dominance they have shown in two consecutive playoff bouts.
I don't know about you guys but in this tight playoff field it looks to me like the Rams are the only dominant team. Only problem right now is that they're facing a team that matches up well with them. But man. One good indicator for being the last team standing is straight dominance and the Rams are that team thus far two games in.
