I still can’t believe these guys drafted Lance, with all that draft capital. I mean seriously.

I see a lot of guys in my town park that can throw a football and run around. Lance is one of those dudes.

Their fans were stoked about the pick. Leading up to the draft, many were despondent because the rumor was that they were taking Mac Jones and most of them wanted no part of him. When they drafted Lance, they were elated and thought they had the next Mahomes.

Those fans are so delusional. I remember when they thought Jimmy Garoppolo was a future Hall of Famer. Now they think Purdy is. Doubt a game manager or system quarterback is Hall of Fame material.

Well, JG did start out like a house on fire. Won a bunch of starts for NE IIRC, then won his first bunch with San Fran. I liked him a lot as a prospect and was bummed when the Pats took him. Of course that's nothing compared to "my guy" leading up to the '22 draft, some QB out of Iowa State....

I wanted the Rams to draft Garapolo with their third round pick in 2014. He went late second round though. Pick #62
