plus he has auto leverage with wingspan of a 6'4" dude.Lampkin is one of the most technically sound Olinemen I’ve ever seen play in college. He has to be to overcome the lack of size.
Well IMO there are a couple of UDRFA OT’s that might have as good of a chance to make The Rams squad ?plus he has auto leverage with wingspan of a 6'4" dude.
Because of his height 279 isn't that light he's thick and will add weight
in NFL with superior trainers.
I love an underdog. I'm hooping he finds a way to stick.
I am also hoping that Mcvay can figure out a way to utilize Willie Lampkin. I gotta be honest... I really believe he could make an excellent fullback, even if used only in short yardage situations or for extra pass protection like when Kyren gets set right behind the interior O'line.

Rams schedule 2025: Study the Los Angeles Rams week-by-week schedule with times, TV and more.
Justin Barron got $234,000 guaranteed from the Cowboys and C.J. Dippre of the Patriots got $264,000. Those figures are more than the Rams' entire UDFA class combined.
Sorry if already posted. I didn’t copy the full article. It’s interesting how much more some teams pay for UDFAs
Some of the guarantees are pretty stunning but perhaps it’s says a lot about the depth on some rosters?
For example, CB Zy Alexander was given $249K guaranteed by the Seahawks. Would he make our roster?

comparing these numbers, it's shocking that the rams get any UDFA's with what they are paying...
i guess guys just want to play for them...
go rams
slo
Full list as of Monday--with my comments on a couple of them.
Right now, I'm extremely excited about this UDFA group! I think at least three of them will make the final team roster--53-man roster: Dolac, Lampkins, and one other--maybe Terry or Norton. About 3-5 others should end up on the Practice Squad, so yes, I'm saying up to eight of these guys could "make the team."
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Los Angeles Rams on Monday agreed to terms with 17 undrafted free agents.
Those players are:
- Utah State OL Wyatt Bowles
- 6-5; 300
- Seems to have a great attitude
- Before the draft, he said he wanted to be one of the 2% who make it.
- He was rated #23 Aggie for 2025 before the season started, so a late bloomer
- Radio chat on him:
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1T9Ewf7D8o- Connecticut S Malik Dixon-Williams
- I heard he was a former 5-Star recruit
- Said he wanted to go to UConn to build it from scratch--wanted the challenge
- 6-1 and 200 or so
- Found some high school highlights
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s17esKCFYiY- Buffalo ILB Shaun Dolac
- This guy will make the team!
- Small but fast and great athlete--incredible body control
- 6-2 and 220
- A tackling machine who makes some of the most amazing interceptions you'll ever see--astounding for a linebacker
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4qNnINe_L4- I think he can start down the road
- Boise State OL Ben Dooley
- 6-5, 320 pounder
- 6 years in college
Left guard, #66 in the video below
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tM8S5WGDTs- Louisiana Tech WR Tru Edwards
- Son of former NFL WR Troy Edwards, who was a first-round pick in the NFL
- 6-3, 201
- He has the size and YAC ability to make it
- Tons of short passes in the flat and underneath
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjpHDsI0y0E&t=500s- North Carolina OL Willie Lampkin
This guy has a great chance to make the team!
He's a great player who was ignored due to his small size and mediocre testing
I think he can start at C down the road--maybe even guard
Had a great Senior Bowl week
View: https://x.com/Mason_Kinnahan/status/1884329429553623303- Here he stones Deone Walker, 6-7 340, of Kentucky
- Walker was drafted in the 4th RD by Bills at 109
- Hugely productive in college
- #1 in run blocking and #2 in pass blocking
- Only 5-11 and 280 or so--some say 5-10 and 270
- 5.22 forty
- 23.5-inch vertical
- 18 reps at 225 in bench press
- Right guard, #53
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0YOv8g1teQ&t=103s- USC OLB Jamil Muhammad
- Great junior year
- Terrible senior year
- Both body type and play style seem like the Rams' 3rd-round pick, Josaiah Stewart
- 6-1, 260
- This guy has a chance, but why did he have only one sack last year?
- "Jamil Muhammad played in all 26 USC games the past two season. He racked up 73 total tackles and 7.5 sacks. Muhhmanad played more defensive end end in 2024 compared to linebacker in 2023. Numbers wise, Muhammad had a drop off in this season. He was tied for 11th on the Trojans defense in total combined tackles, and only ended top with one sack on the year. In 2023, he finished seventh on the team in total tackles with 46 and led the team in sacks with 6.5. "
- University of Texas DL Bill Norton
- Huge: 6-6 and 335
- He definitely has a chance to make it. In his case, maybe he needs to slim down to be more mobile
- I read that he's a penetrating lineman, but he only had one sack in his career
- "After the 2023 college football season, Norton transferred to the Texas Longhorns. The 6-foot-6, 335-pound defensive lineman recorded 14 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble for the Longhorns this season. Norton had just one sack in his college career, but he recorded it in the College Football Playoff."
- Seems to be a huge body that can stuff the middle at nose tackle
- Originally played at Georgia
- Georgia head coach Kirby Smart raved about him
- "What a great kid man, this guy worked his tail off here and worked really hard," Smart said. "One of his key roles was with special teams, he played on our field goal protection unit and was the best at doing it."
- Rice OLB Josh Pearcy
- 6-2, 245
- Very articulate man!
- Three-time captain
- He said he loved playing special teams at Rice, which is a HUGE plus!
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YX4V4NI8oQQ&t=174s- Oklahoma State WR Brennan Presley
- 5-8, 174
- Tiny but had a very productive career with tons of catches and yards
- 90 catches for 767 yards and 7 TDs in 2024
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eksPlYoBce8- Louisville TE Mark Redman
- 6-5, 255
- Been a starter for at least three year
- He's a huge guy known for his blocking but can catch the ball
- I could see him making the team--vanilla, but a much cheaper Parkinson
- 24 catches for 256 yards and 3 TDs
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb5VcA1ZLLw- Oklahoma DL Da'Jon Terry
- 6-3, 330
- This guy could make the team!
- He's huge and has nice agility--very good lateral movement, too
- Rams seem to be going very big on the DL--wise after they got pushed around in the trenches last season
- #95 on the video below
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_Y7pn34bDs- Toledo TE Anthony Torres
- 6-7, 250
- Huge target but small college guy
- Was injured a lot
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEzh_NTWUvE- Longshot but seems like a good guy willing to keep working
- Northern Illinois S Nate Valcarcel
- 6-1, 192
- Couldn't find much on him
- NC State RB Jordan Waters
- 6-0, 215
- Size and some speed
- Bigger guy who can break tackles and occasionally break a long run
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BXnIa5jFUs&t=106s- Indiana OL Trey Wedig
- 6-7, 319
