Thats it I think.
If a team ever ended up in Vegas I can't imagine the FA advantage that would be. The Vegas nightlife and no state income tax?
My point being that many were touting that players would be clambering to come play in magical LA

This is part of the Rams plan
It's the NE formula and they are making it happen

Whatever they said about Plan A was just part of Plan Ab and Ac

We are drafting CB's in a deep draft all day long

If we lose McLeod along with Janoris, I'm gonna lose it. We only have 6 picks and the offense is trash. We cant afford to have all of these holes. We'd essentially be back in rebuild mode. No news on Hayes coming back either. So lets add DE to that list. Oh and don't forget DT because Fairley isn't coming back. No news on Barron. Let's pray he comes back. Because if not, we now need CB,DT,DE, MLB, FS, WR, QB, C and TE. With a whopping 6 picks. We better replace these guys.

The problem with not signing free agents is that the team is already really young and they don't have very many draft picks this year, you can only fill so many holes with the draft.

The only thing I can figure is the Rams must be saving all that money to throw at Oswiller or one of the other FA QBs They have a lot of holes to fill and looking like even more that we originally thought if we lose Jenkins, McCloud, Barron, Fairly, Hayes..... Good God! I bet they blow all there money on offense in FA and have an all defense draft.

Sean Smith - DB - Chiefs
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Raiders "have turned their attention" to free agent CB Sean Smith.

Oakland was reportedly involved in the market for Janoris Jenkins, but he has agreed to terms with the Giants. The Raiders will now turn to Smith, who is a more consistent and likely cheaper option. Rapoport reports the Chiefs are not out of the running for Smith yet, and the 49ers are also reportedly interested.

- QB - Broncos
9 News Denver's Mike Klis reports the Broncos and free agent QB Brock Osweiler have reopened negotiations.

NFL Network's James Palmer reported Tuesday the two sides had not spoken since the Broncos offered a three-year, $45 million deal, but Klis reports negotiations resumed Tuesday afternoon. They are expected to intensify in the lead up to the new league year Wednesday. Osweiler is reportedly receiving serious interest from the Texans as well, but those reports could be overblown. Osweiler's future should come into sharper focus in the next 24 hours.

I totally get that but we have Tru who will be under contract and if we have Mo Alexander to replace Barron
we are gonna find replacements for McLeod and Jenkins - the replacement for Jenkins will be in the second round and the McLeod replacement in the later rounds if not an UDFA

DE is the big concern but at 15 you've got to think we are bringing in a beast like Lawson or Dodd

So far so good....except the consistent and effective offensive plan and stumbling onto a HOF QB.

Really would have been nice to see the Rams prioritize a WR. I'm a little irked by that tbh, but it's just starting so we'll see.

Money speaks above all else. As it should I suppose.
An 8 or 9% state tax vs a lower state tax or no state tax would matter to me.
But, it is individual for each guy I am sure.

Mo Alexander does not equal Barron by a long shot. It would be a serious let down if Barron walks.

Jenkins will be replaced be Gaines we just need a decent depth pick up there whether free agency or draft.

McLeod has been better then people give him credit for. He was integral to our back seven and he will not be replaced easily. Letting him walk puts a serious hole back there as well.

I love McLeod and JJ
But Barron will be replaced my Mo Alexander which I'm good with
I think Barron is key but his loss won't be that devaststing

Eagles snag QB Daniel with three-year deal
5170.jpg

Eagles agreed to terms with QB Chase Daniel, formerly of the Chiefs, on a three-year contract.

Daniel was near the top of a typically thin quarterback market, but has had to settle for a clear No. 2 job instead of a competition elsewhere. It's still not a bad landing spot. Daniel is reuniting with ex-Chiefs OC Doug Pederson and will be backing up one of the league's shakiest and most injury prone starters in Sam Bradford. Daniel will probably make starts at some point during his deal. Daniel's addition means Mark Sanchez will be released. It's worth noting that Daniel's deal is longer than Bradford's.

IMO Marvin Jones was the only clear upgrade option available in FA, which would have been nice. However at 8 mil a year? I dont know about that
