I think that it's fair to say that we may have a handful of young players that could make Pro Bowls in the near future. Not counting the 4 that have already done so.

GRob
Brockers
Ogletree
Barron
TruJo
McDonald

Been a long time since we could make such a statement about a Ram team without being laughed at, huh?

Notice that all but one play on D?

BTW, having a playoff season and playing in the LA market would definitely boost all their chances.

Damn that's a good and hard question. Barron, Tru, or Ogletree.

I think Browm or Havenstein might have a decent shot to.

Tavon should of been the returner two years now but I don't see them ever making him that unless he literally returns every punt!

Ogletree or Austin.

I don't see much hope for Barron. Unless you pile up the sacks or excel in coverage, 4-3 OLBers are going to be overlooked. Lavonte David could've gone to four Pro Bowls but only made it to one.

Agreed with all the usual suspects being named already for the most part.

I will say I disagree on Tru. Great CB, a better fit for us than Jenkins, glad to have him locked up. But he struggles with speedy receivers at times, last year was his contract season, and he's shown a tendency to get a bit knicked up over the course of a season. He'll also be covering the other teams #1 WR consistently for the first time next year. So far, he has only done so sporadically. I think he takes a step back. I would not be at all surprised if last year ends up being his career year when he eventually retires and people look back on his career. Just the Rams' luck, from a contractual standpoint.

So much young talent to choose from but if I had to pick one it would be Tree.He going to make this defense alot better playing MLB and he will have a monster year.

Barron. He was the top non-DL in tackles for a loss last season. With a full season at OLB he should be close to league leader in tackles and fairly close in tackles for a loss, with a bunch of forced fumbles too. There's a reason the Rams made him a priority signing.

Problem with Barron is hes in that shitty situation where hes listed as a OLB but in in a 4-3 and we all know most OLBs that make the pro bowl are the 3-4 pass rushers. tough hill to climb for him

Sure. But when he's getting way more TFLs than 3-4 OLBs, that will draw attention.

And he had more than any 3-4 OLB last season, despite being a safety for a quarter of the year.

It's very cool to see so many different names to go with the guys we already know will be there like Hekker, Donald and Gurley. I hope Quinn is 100% after the surgery but backs are tricky and sometimes it takes a season to be back on top.

It would be very cook to see 5 guys go. Or more :)

Reading this thread it really brings it home how good this roster is. Particularly on defense of course, but still when you add the following to Gurley and Donald this is a playoff caliber roster...

Offense:
Havenstein had a ridiculous rookie season. Pro Bowls are in his future just a question of when.
Tavon would be a perennial Pro Bowl starter if the Rams had an accurate QB.

Defense:
Barron absolutely played at an impact/Pro Bowl level as LB.
Ogletree was playing at a Pro Bowl level pre-injury. With both him and Barron injuries are key.
Tru will make it if he continues his play, he was Pro Bowl level last season.
Gaines if he returns from injury is that level of player based on his crazy good rookie season.
McDonald is going to be asked to do more, will he respond? He's capable of it IMO.

Rams gotta hit on the offensive skill positions QB, WR and TE and they're gonna be in business.
